  Room was absolutely disgusting. Carpets were so dirty the room reeked, air was full of dust, room door doesn't even close on its own, you have to kick it closed. Room is massive, but has no ventilation aside from the bathroom fan, meaning the air is stale and gross. Should have asked for a different room, but was too tired. Shouldn't ever have to deal with that though, especially not at this price point. Staff was very friendly, and wifi was good. Breakfast is a miserable affair, where you have to wait for it to be cooked - not a great option when you're rushing out to a job site.

  We stay here every year and always love it. Staff are friendly and attentive, they always accomodate room requests (dogs, side by side rooms, late checkout, etc). What was different this year is with the new extension that was built, they didn’t add additional seating to the dining area. It was so overcrowded and long lines for everything. Breakfast was 7-10, we came 830 and they already ran out of bacon sausage and potatoes. Only had scrambled eggs. Lines for the coffee were long, and for the self serve waffle station. Not much food. We love this hotel but they definitely need to add dining space to accommodate for the extension. Yes, there is outdoor seating but not everyone is comfortable doing that.

  Place is nice and the staff is super nice but the pillows were not, they offer 4 pillows per bed but they are all the same so what's the point? I couldn't sleep as I'm a side sleeper and because the pillows are so thick I got a crank in my neck within minutes. Location is in industrial zone so nothing in walking distance. Otherwise breakfast if very nice and everyone is very friendly.

  Nicely laid out, very comfortable, modern rooms with nice amenities. Sort of an odd location near some industrial yards, but very quiet, with spacious parking. I had a foot injury at an offsite event and went back to the hotel thinking it would resolve itself, but it didn't and May, the hotel's front desk associate, went out of her way to help me by bringing me ice and arranging for family members to meet up with me and get me to hospital. All ended well, but May went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after. All the staff were helpful and considerate. Really appreciate that.

  Ended up in Walkerton due to a family emergency late last night and needed a place to stay. Found the Best Western Walkerton and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did! Michelle was just the smile we needed when we walked in. She gave us the last room they had, and after hearing we only had the clothes on our back offered us some toothbrushes and tooth paste for the morning. Something so small to most, honestly made our whole night! We were put in "new" section and it was absolutely beautiful! Room was big, clean and had a small kitchenette. Beds were comfy, and loved the 4 different types of pillows on the bed so you had choices! Would definitely stay here again if needed!
