I ended up arriving late in Vancouver and needed a place to stay until my next flight the following day. Booking with this hotel was easy, the rate was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating of my late check-in time and helped coordinate getting me back to the airport the next morning. The hotel isn't fancy but it was reasonably priced, clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable so it was perfect for my needs.
I also realized I forgot to get my photo ID back from the front desk when I checked in. I didn't realize until I was already home, and when I called the hotel I was transferred to the manager who confirmed his staff had found it and he offered to coordinate getting it sent to me. Great customer service!

Terrible hotel. My company put me up here for one night and it's the worst stay I've had. The bathroom fan sounds like it's going to vibrate our of the ceiling, I couldn't even use it. Same thing with the AC unit. Very loud. Water wouldnt get hot in shower, luke warm at best. The location is terrible for taxis and ride share my uber eats driver canceled my order because he couldn't get to it. I called the front desk to request a late check out and the women said checkout is 11 and hung up. Will never allow myself or anybody from my company to stay here again.
My Mom and I had a 1 night stay early Sept prior to a cruise. We paid $292 for a basic room with 2 beds. Our room was in need of a good cleaning. There were spots and spills on the curtains, walls etc. Dust in the corners or the room and on baseboards. Prior water leaks had bubbling and paint lifting in a couple areas. Maybe other rooms have been updated recently, but ours was in definite need of a face lift. Both beds were extremely saggy and this was not great for someone who has a bad back. It was definitely not worth it for the price.
I am pretty sure they do not clean the rooms here… upon arrival there are dirty mirrors, walls, doors, counters, floors. There’s someone else’s hair on the bathroom floor when I walked in. The lights hum and it’s a pretty creepy and dingy place, but having things not be visibly dirty would have helped.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel in May 2025 as part of a park and fly package. On the night of my return stay, I checked in late and discovered ants in the room, including in the bed, the bedroom area, and the bathroom. I took photos and immediately called the front desk. Shockingly, they did not offer to move me to another room or provide any remedy.
The next morning, before checkout, I showed the photos to staff. They asked me to email them, which I did, and told me a manager would follow up. The manager never contacted me. Over the next few months, I called multiple times and was repeatedly told the manager was not working or was on vacation.
After months of being ignored, I finally escalated to Best Western customer service. I was told I would receive 5,000 Best Western Rewards points, which I was told equaled about $500 in credit. I accepted on that basis. Only later did I discover those points are worth around $25, which is not even close to reimbursing the $203 I paid for a room that was uninhabitable.
When I called again recently to use my supposed credit, I was transferred several times, retold my story multiple times, and was finally told that Best Western would do nothing further because of the timeline. This excuse is unacceptable. I reported the ants immediately, provided photos, followed all instructions, and have documentation of every step.
Other hotel chains credit a night without question when guests experience basic failures like no hot water. Here, Best Western refused to address the issue, ignored follow up, misrepresented compensation, and ultimately dismissed my complaint.
As a Best Western Rewards member, I am deeply disappointed in how this was handled. Guests should be able to trust that issues will be taken seriously and resolved fairly. I would strongly caution others against staying at this property and I urge Best Western corporate to review how both the hotel and customer service handled this situation.
