- FBFalk Baumann3 days ago1.0Usually my go to hotel for staying in Valemount while working but they recently switched away from a free buffet breakfast to a sit down ordering breakfast including charging $3.75 for a juice from the dispenser that‘s free at every other hotel. Won‘t be staying here again until things are back to normal.
- SSSandra SOct 7, 20254.0Fabulous stop between Chilliwack or Vancouver and Edmonton especially if you travel with dogs. Could use a bit of updating, but for accommodation with dogs, this was one of the nicer ones we stayed in! There is a bird reserve with great walking trails right behind to take your pup for a walk! There is a bar and resteraunt, nothing fancy, but reasonable food. Not a great wine list and not may choices of beer, but not bad. We would stay there again and it was good to be near the exit and on the main floor!

Die Kinder hatten einen riesen Spass mit der Wasserrutsche, die uns so in noch keinem Best Western Plus begegnet ist. Achtung: Das Frühstück ist hier nicht inklusive und kann im Restaurant mit 50% Rabatt eingenommen werden. Dafür ist es reichlich mit richtigen Besteck und für 12 CAD je Erwachsenen OK nach unserem Empfinden (lieber so, als weniger Auswahl und mit Plastikgeschirr).

Sev at the front desk checked us in and went above and beyond to help us alter our reservation when we ended up coming off the nearby Berg Lake trail a bit earlier than anticipated. Professional, warm and friendly staff in the restaurant as well and the food is great. Highly recommend!
- YWYi WangAug 22, 20253.0I stayed at BW Valemount with a friend last Saturday. The suite was spacious, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. However, I was double charged by both Expedia and the Valemount hotel. The front desk initially told me this was a security deposit and that it would be returned to my card shortly. After five days, the charge was still present on my account. I called the hotel yesterday, and they acknowledged the double charge, processed a refund, and informed me it should appear on my card within a couple of days. Coincidentally, this morning my credit card was compromised, and I noticed three fraudulent transactions: $1 from Wikimedia, and $25 and $50 from Best Buy. Since I had transaction alerts linked to my email, I locked my card immediately. I want to clarify that I am not linking the fraudulent activity to BW Valemount—only stating the facts. There have been no additional transactions since I called the hotel. And it is possible that my card information was compromised elsewhere. Overall, I was satisfied with the room, location, and service, aside from the double charge. I will provide an update once the refund has been received.
