Good view of the mountain and local grocery store right around the corner. Unfortunately my score is not higher because the parts of the property I experienced were not very accessible. I have chronic conditions and a back wrecked from a road trip to the winding halls and even relatively short staircases were a huge challenge. I assume accessible rooms are available upon request. Fun, older, property with character.
- RRRichAug 6, 20254.0We stayed at the Best Western Plus Tree House on the way to Oregon and on the way home. All in all, it's a nice place. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The first night we had a double queen room #136. It was a good quiet location on the second floor (yes, even with a 100-series room number) facing the courtyard. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was OK, but not great. We were awakened some time after 1:00am to the sound of the fire alarm, which was also not great. The next day, the front desk clerk said the fire department responded and determined none of the alarm handles had been pulled; it was just a mystery. We returned a few days later and stayed in room #124, also on the second floor facing the courtyard. This room had a much more comfortable king sized bed. That night, the entire hotel had no TV service due to a weather-related outage. That's OK, as we had an awesome late dinner at Pipeline and got back to the room late, anyway. Neither the fire alarm nor the TV outage were the fault of the staff, and this star review does not take either of those incidents into consideration.
