The hotel is very modernized and the amenities are nice, accessible, and cleanly. The rooms were clean, breakfast options were good and even had hot breakfast like potatoes, bacon, sausage and eggs. There was always someone at the front desk to answer calls. It would be helpful if there were more than one person at night considering me and one other poor woman had our catalytic converters stolen and a third person's vehicle was started on (but not finished). I was not informed until about 7 hours after the incident. This was especially inconsiderate if you account for the fact it was the morning of our check out. We were gifted one complementary nights stay but were only offered a discount for the next night. Considering WE had to put in a near 50% deposit towards upkeeping OUR end, (to which the deposit was not noted when we booked), the least they could do is uphold THEIR end of keeping our possessions safe on their property. What is the point of a security guard if he cannot handle common auto theft (which locals informed us afterward is super common for the area)? Please give him more backup or better equipment. As people from out of state visiting with not much prior knowledge, do not let the pretty hotel fool you, TACOMA IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY! It seemed like staff were empathetic but didn't do much for us in terms of accommodations.

Hard beds, waiting outside locked doors, pool is dangerous and my gf fell when she was already being careful. Her back and hip and wrist are messed up. Breakfast is gross. If I wanted to microwave my eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes I would have done it in my hotel room.

I tried to write a review yesterday and then I tried to write one to the link I was texted. I'll start over here. I absolutely can't stand this place. The amount of times we had to stand outside til they opened the doors was annoying. The beds hurt. The blankets slide off you. The pool area night have wet signs up, but it didn't matter. I walked so slow and fell and hit my butt, back, and wrist. I'm disabled and I'm here for doctors appts. This made all of my issues worse. I went to go change in the bathroom and I fell and hit my head on the toilet. I'm in so much pain right now and I cannot bend I had to have my bf help me put my clothes on. Whoever thought it was smart to put shiny smooth times around a pool, was an idiot. We check out tomorrow and we l won't be coming back for my other doctors appointments. I hate this place and I hurt so bad. On top of everything, I had called a few weeks ago to ask if I could bring my service animal and I was told no dogs allowed at all and I just saw someone come in with one.
Edit- either they aren't very bright, or they are just rude. They asked us we wanted an extra towel to walk on? When it was suggested to put down mats for people they said they didn't have any. Right.... So tell higher up that you should buy some! They aren't taking what happened very seriously.

The bed is so low to the ground. 2 feet. The bed is hard as a rock and about as stiff as the floor. ADA shower, Shampoo and conditioner bottles are 2 feet down from the ceiling, not low enough for a wheelchair bound person. No ada seat in the shower either.
Grab bars all over the bathroom, including in front of the sink. Security
Lights from the outside at night are more powerful then the short blackout curtains. There is a 1 inch gap at the bottom and sides that lets enough light in to make the room daylight.
Heat in the room, that's funny it is cold air.
At leat the room is clean and lots of pillows to make a cushion on top of the bed to add softness.

Edit- I did definitely stay in your hotel lol. It's almost like the people that make the reservations sometimes have other guests with them that do not share the same name. The reservation was under my partners name. You replied to his recent review too. Nice try. Our stories are also the exact same, so you definitely know exactly who I am. I did in fact come to the front desk to talk about this issue, and no body helped or cared and they acted clueless when I fell in YOUR pool area. I would also like to add that's it's extremely annoying to be paying to stay somewhere, and then call down for extra blankets, or towels and have to come down and get them ourselves. Whenever we needed something, we did the work to get it. Your breakfast was not cooked, it was microwaved. You told me I couldn't bring my service dog but there were service dogs there, you have shiny slippery stones surrounding a pool area and it doesn't matter how carefully you walk- you'll fall. I fractured my tailbone. We had to stop at the hospital on the way out of town. I even hit my head on pool restroom toilet when I fell a second time- just a few minutes after the first. We ended up switching to the Murano when we extended our stay. You should have comped our entire stay. I'll be adjusting my review based on your reply. Thanks.
We haven't left yet. Just spent our first day and night here. Not looking forward to going to need again.
Likes-very clean and quiet
Dislikes- wasn't offered a luggage cart. Didn't even know they had one. They just watched us make several trips. The beds are too hard and now my back is messed up and my partners back. The pillows suck. The blankets are too thin and they slide right off of you. Not enough lighting in the middle of the room. Any light has to come from the blinds being open. I'm really dreading sleeping in this bed again tonight and wish I had purchased insurance so I could cancel for the night and go somewhere else. I expected a place this nice to be comfortable.
