- MMMike MassonSep 18, 20251.0As a person who travels a lot all across Canada for business, I found few issues at this hotel, that will make me think twice about coming back. This hotel is clean and convenient for its location near the airport BUT for 2 nights stay during the week, with taxes over $550.. and that includes a 4% accommodation tax, what BS.. Now, you think you would get a breakfast with that, nope as you have to pay for it at the attached restaurant at an over priced menu. On top of this, they don't even offer a coffee in the lobby for free, no you need to fork out $ for one..I just drove next door to Tim's for half the price! The main issue is, I had late afternoon flight (4 pm) and ask for 2 pm checkout and was told if I checkout after 1pm, they will charge me another night.. OMG, what great customer service.. and don't think they will rush to clean my room after I leave and get my room available.. I was ready to spend $ at the restaurant on site but not now. I stay at many hotels, over 100 + each year for business and have never had an experience like this.. not a great experience here 😕 😞
- JMJim McHughSep 11, 20254.0Stayed just one night and sure, it's a very clean hotel with very comfortable rooms. Desk staff were friendly, provided lots of information about services available and got us to our rooms fast. The guest elevator up to the rooms is also used by people who use the pool and we had to share the elevator with loud kids who just left the pool and dripping wet, this renders the floor slippery and unsafe. For the price, breakfast is not included so it makes the stay a bit more expensive. We were told they used to provide a continental breakfast but I guess profit comes before people so that stopped. Very comfortable but a tad pricey for the ordinary working man.
- MDMichael DavisAug 28, 20255.0We had a pleasant stay at a difficult time (November 2024). My wife was home to say goodbye to her Mom. This was a last minute booking, through a travel agent. We were able to move up to larger room, when someone else joined us, with little extra cost and no hassle. Parking was plentiful and free, it's right next to the airport, and staff were always helpful. One suggestion: more choices on the breakfast menu.
