- TCThreads of All ColorsAug 11, 20255.0Family Reunion time. Was looking for an overnight stay. Most places were booked. But conveniently located right off I-85, this hotel was an excellent choice. The property is spotless throughout, with cheerful and friendly staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The main entrance leads directly to the lobby and rooms. The elevator is quiet and a reasonable speed, but for those (like me) wanting extra steps, the wide, air-conditioned staircase was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, and a nice-sized TV. I appreciated that the in-room TV offered all networks and streaming channels without needing a personal account—a rare perk these days. There’s a generous nice seating area for breakfast or work, with large computer monitors available for guest use. Breakfast included the usual favorites: eggs, grits, sausage patties, make-your-own waffles with toppings, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, mini muffins, coffee, tea, and juices. Other amenities included plenty of parking, ice machines on each floor, and a comfortable overall atmosphere. I will definitely make this hotel an option again when I’m in the area.
- CKChristy KingJul 28, 20255.0The front desk staff was excellent great service and housekeeping was also so helpful and friendly.... breakfast is a 10 great variety to choose and breakfast lady also great and very helpful.....the best place to stay in South Hill VA.....rooms was nice and clean and very comfortable and quiet....and very convenient to restaurants and stores.... Keep up the great work

- CMCori MJul 20, 20255.0We weren’t staying at the Best Western Plus, but when we found ourselves caught in a severe storm while driving in from New England, we pulled in seeking shelter. The front desk attendant Christy welcomed us into the lobby without hesitation and couldn’t have been kinder. She offered us a safe, dry place to wait out the worst of the weather and was warm, friendly, and professional the entire time. It’s rare to experience such genuine hospitality when you’re not even a guest. Christy’s kindness turned our scary situation into something comforting. Thank you for showing such compassion—we’ll absolutely keep Best Western Plus in mind for future stays.
