- JLJames LauSep 7, 20255.0Stayed in Edmonton for a quick visit of my relatives. Able to enjoy the pool and water slide as well. Water slide was fun - though on the smaller side so bigger kids or adults will have a difficult time sitting up in there. Railings start to see some rust and age. Hot tub is comfy but jet is weak. Room was very nice and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. A/c was powerful. TV nice, fridge was decently cold. Bathroom was clean, ample counter space and equipped. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were a nice brand. Our room was facing west thus facing the highway which made it a bit noisier. If you need Quieter room I would recommend requesting facing north south or east. Parking was aplenty. Breakfast was decent typical hotel quality. They do have 2x self made waffle machines typical in the US.
- MMMissySep 2, 20255.0I had the most horrible experience with Expedia, they booked me a room and when we arrived the hotel didn’t know about our reservation. Alisha is the most wonderful person! She helped us out so much and was absolutely amazing. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think I’d ever go back to Edmonton. She made our stay great and helped us out with whatever she could. She was always there to greet us with a smile and a warm welcome. She is the superstar of this hotel! I don’t think best western even knows what kind of employee they have. My kids love her and my whole family is incredibly grateful to have met her. I cannot say enough about Alisha. When we come back to Edmonton I’ll be staying at any hotel she’s working at! God bless

- LBLoretta BAug 24, 20252.0I would not recommend this hotel if you want a good nights sleep. The beds are terrible and there is a shortage of towels. The waterslide was fun for the kids and the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and polite.

The high light of our trip and experience was Mike at the front desk, he was friendly, personably, funny, and made the entire experience. I generally stay at the Sandman next door but will be staying at this location from now on just because of Mike in hopes we can deal with him in the future!!!! Give him a raise!!
