When I asked for housekeeping, they refused to clean the room that day. It’s frustrating to pay for a stay where basic service isn’t clearly communicated or readily available.
- MCM CarterOct 4, 20255.0We had a room with 2 queens. It felt just big enough for our needs. We stayed 6 nights so that i can care for my kid who goes to college in the area from surgery. The staff was accomodating adding nights to our stay as needed - friendly, kind. We never needed to move rooms. The room had a desk, microwave, sm refridgerator and a closet to hold all your personal items. The AC works well when you need it. But the window doesn't open so you'll need to use the fan and prop the door a smidge if you don't want AC. (The area is very safe, walkable; next to a senior community.) The free breakfast is good enough to hold you thru lunch. That space you can use to work when breakfast is not served. The pool area is spacious and generally quiet during the day. I used the gym which had some treadmills and stationary bikes, weight machines that were a bit out dated but did the job. It was clean, provided water and towels. It is an older property and well kept. My stay, although not for pleasure/vacation, was comfortable and pleasant. I'll be back.

The breakfast was hearty and the pool/grounds made the hotel feel private and tucked away. Easy access to the freeway yet. It's a quiet. We plan to go back when visiting our son at UCSB.
