What an absolute gem of a motel!! We booked this randomly for a girls weekend because the photos looked promising and the price was right! All I can say is BOOK THE STAY! This Best Western comes across more as a quaint bnb. The place has been meticulously maintained, the grounds are gorgeous and the architecture is picture worthy. Blooms and vines all over the place. A bird aviary! A little restaurant and coffee place with stained glass windows! A beautiful pool area with garden! Plus it is minutes from all the fun downtown. The staff are all gems, friendly and helpful. We are booking our next stay there now!

Me and my fiancé stayed here on our road trip around California and America. We booked through booking.com and paid in full before we arrived at the hotel. Unfortunately, it seems the hotel has charged us again during our stay as my credit card has a charge on it that we have no idea about. Due to being from the UK, our phone contracts don’t allow us to make phone calls to American numbers and we have tried to look for an email to get in touch but can’t seem to find anything. It’s a shame, as our stay was really lovely so we are hoping we can resolve the issue as soon as possible.

From the time we checked in, we noticed a strong esprit d'corps among staff, at all levels in their property. Everyone asked how else they could make our stay more enjoyable and did not hesitate to help in a couple instances we had. The food at their restaurant was delicious (with their Hawaiian spin on cuisine), their courtyard and pool were quiet and relaxing, and their grounds were well kept, clean and colorful. Kudos to their staff and management team for an amazing 4-day retreat that we thoroughly enjoyed

This hotel is nothing special. It’s a motel format with good sized rooms that are old. The room smelled like someone smuggled a cat in here and covered it up with bleach. The sheets were old and worn with stains. The people at the front were very nice but anywhere else this hotel would cost $180 maximum. It is crazy overpriced for what you get.
When the clinic staff recommended the Best Western for post-surgery recovery, my wife and I were hesitant. Turns out we had no reason to be this hotel was exactly what we needed. It is all that and a bag of chips!
The room was top notch: quiet, comfortable, and perfect for recovery. But what really stood out was the staff.
• Jesus was the first to help us, making sure we had a lower-level room since my wife couldn’t do stairs. The man is a silent assassin behind the keyboard, working magic with the focus and skill of a hacker. Be kind to him; his skills are unmatched.
• Helen was incredible. When my wife had some post-op complications, I called to extend our stay. She didn’t just brush me off, SHE LISTENED. After hearing me out, she asked if she could call back, and within 10 minutes she had secured us another night. Later, when I came down to rekey our card, she asked how my wife was doing and genuinely wished her well. Those words may seem small, but when you’re stressed and worried, they mean everything to your mental health.
• Catherine was just as sweet and welcoming. And though I’m kicking myself for forgetting another team member’s name, trust me when I say the front desk is full of all-stars. You’re not just a customer here, you’re a guest in their home.
We ended up needing yet another night, and once again Jesus worked his keyboard magic to make it happen. Truly, my wife wouldn’t be this far along in her recovery without this team’s care and the comfort of this hotel.
Added bonuses:
• The Live Oak Café is phenomenal. You can skip the DoorDash and eat here. Save room for dessert!
• The bird sanctuary is peaceful and fun to watch. Nature therapy right outside your door!
Overall? 10/10. The staff, the food, the room, the vibe! Everything was exactly what we needed. We are so grateful.
