I would stay here again. Clean and comfy. The rooms were a little dark, but in good condition. I'm guessing they're going for more of a lodge feel and they did well. Close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Restaurants close by, good food. I will warn you, the lake view rooms are seasonal, lol. We paid for a lakeside room, but there is currently no lake. Also, these are outside entrance rooms, so you likely won't want to leave the curtains open to enjoy the view because you'll have people walking by often.
This inn is actually a motel that is separate from the main building with the pool, restaurant, etc. The rooms are quite outdated with peeling wallpaper, a box spring for a mattress, popcorn ceilings and no insulation in the walls (could hear the neighbors talking, using the toilet, watching TV). Our bathroom window also had black mold growing on the caulking. The a/c & heater unit wasn’t regulating the temperature in the room so we had to open the windows to drop the temperature before bed.
I went to use the gym and the equipment was duck-taped together and wobbly. My mother went in to the pool changing room and was told the space was a communal shower with several ladies wanting to shower together with her.

My room was in the Deer Lodge and the room was super outdated. At $250 a night off season I would have expected a better room. My 2 major issues were the toilet seat that was about 16 inches from the floor. I haven't seen a toilet seat that low since kindergarten. The second was the shower. They had the old pull knobs for the water that I haven't seen in 30 years. The water in the shower was impossible to adjust due to the crappy knob handle. You either got scolded or the water was ice cold.
The only redeeming qualities were the closeness to the park and the breakfast buffet.
Location location location, that's what its all about. Yes had a breakfast buffet (be warned of huge line at 6.30 when opens) and dinner buffet. Ok at best, think Golden Coral. Check in was at 4, however, everyone but us seemed to allowed to check in as early as 2.30.
The rooms....well, its a motel so don't expect much. You can hear EVERYTHING! The carpet didnt seem to have any padding. The beds were ok, but the pillows were really small. The shower was a bit spongy, ours didnt drain well and took forever to get hot water. The towels, I was able to dry myself is the best I can say. The TV worked and the internet was ok.
Do I fell like I paid way to much, yes. Did I have a variety of choices, no. Down to location. We've been before and stayed in a RV. I would recommend that.
