- APAndrew M. Leeds, PhD2 days ago4.0My wife and I were given a room directly across the hall from the vending machines. When beverage cans were dispensed they made a loud thudding sound which was disturbing to our sleep and rest. The doors in this BW Plus are design to close strongly. They banged close making a loud sound in the middle of our sleep. Despite the sign on the toilet about housekeeping changing towels left on the floor, housekeeping did not service our room. When I complained about the lack of service the man at the front desk showed me where on the back of the room map it is explained that service has to be requested. This was not explained at check-in. At the prices being charged for our stay, the lack of service was surprising.

The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the front desk staff are professional and helpful, and the waitress at breakfast is extremely friendly and welcoming. The heated pool is large and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!
- CTCathy TreacyOct 5, 20255.0Stayed here for wedding in the area. After the wedding, we were heading to Santa Barbara. If I had not been meeting anyone there, I would have stayed another day to relax. Noone else was at the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was amazing and wonderful temperature. Pool was warm and beautiful as welll as the pool area--very pretty and landscaped. So relaxing. The breakfast was amazing also and the breakfast room so welcoming, probably because of the hostess DEZ. She makes you feel so at home and takes such pride in the delivery of a wonderful breakfast to start your day! The rooms were also very comfortable and we loved the balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area. Thank you for a perfect stay!
- FJFred JonesSep 8, 20253.0stayed three nights staff did not clean room or change towels , the location is on a busy street very noisy cars with very loud mufflers , staff at check in were nice . This was our third time staying there , don't think we will be back
- KFKen FalascoSep 8, 20253.0The location is perfect. Check in was easy. Our room,however, smells like dirty sweaty clothes. It definitely needs to be deorderized. The bath drains so slowly that by the end of your shower you are standing in ankle deep water. In my opinion, management needs to have maintenance clean the room and fix the bath drain problem. We definitely will not stay here on our next visit to San Luis Obispo.
