- LALynn Anderson3 days ago5.0This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was very good, the room and facilities were as clean as we have ever had in a hotel (and we are fussy), the inside saltwater pool was a lot of fun and warmer than most. The area around the pool in front of all the rooms is carpeted and it's just shy of a quarter mile so if you walked around it five times you would get in about a mile. Every room opens onto the pool area on one side and the parking area on the other. We booked a handicapped room so we had a very nice walk-in shower. There is a separate restaurant with excellent and reasonably priced food, italian, steaks, fish, mexican, pizza, and Irish. The fish and chips were outstanding as was the spinach salad. The same location as used for the morning breakfast which was extensive and very good. We will definitely return here when we are traveling this way. The only negative was that the recumbent bicycle and the treadmill were not working.

We stayed in the regular carpeted room on our to Montana which was great with indoor access with an elevator. On our way back we had our new pet so we stayed in a pet friendly non carpeted room. Those rooms have the Motel outside access but the doors are nicely sealed and secure. Clean do not have the “dog” smell some pet friendly places have. I like the idea of keeping pet friendly rooms separate from the others. The only reason I gave the room 4 instead of 5 stars is because the mattresses were not great. Those should be updated. But overall definitely 5 stars.
- JWJupiter WescoatAug 18, 20255.0Just wow. Will stay here again if we need a place in Raton. Very nice hotel. The auto coffee/mocha machine was delicious, made many cups. Room was cozy. Unfortunately did not get to try the restaurant or breakfast.

- JSJulia SmithAug 8, 20255.0Long wait for a table for dinner and for our food but oh my my you must try their chili alfredo with chicken. The noodles,sauce and chicken merge with NM green chiles for a delight in your mouth. Bed was so comfy! Nice view from our balcony. Beautiful gifts/jewelry in gift shop. Clean rooms and public spaces. Nice indoor space in the atrium and front lobby. Pool opens at 8am. This is not a “fancy” place but a very comfortable peaceful clean place to stay.
