Dislike that the Fitness Center doesn't open until 6am. I wouldn't book here again for that reason.
I booked what was clearly listed as a one-bedroom room at the Best Western in Washington, but when I arrived, I was placed in a studio-style room with no separate bedroom. The photos for the “King Suite” and the “One-Bedroom Apartment” on the hotel’s website are identical, which makes it impossible for guests to know what they’re actually booking. I relied on the written description when making my reservation, and the room I received did not match that description.
When I brought this to the attention of the hotel’s general manager, they were dismissive and unprofessional, repeatedly insisting that the room matched my booking despite clear evidence to the contrary.
This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly recommend double-checking room details directly with the property before booking, as the website descriptions appear to be misleading and management does not seem willing to take accountability.
I'm thoroughly disappointed in the current staff at this location! I booked a room last Monday through the website. Before arriving at the hotel, I stopped at Safeway in Camad to grab a couple things for my stay. My phone was stolen off the self check out. I proceeded to the hotel to check-in to my room. They informed me I did not have a reservation, much to my dismay. I checked my bank acct. balance and the cost had been deducted. Without my phone I could not verify anything! I asked the swing shift front desk if she could look into it, she said, "nope, you don't have a reservation in our system." I returned to Safeway to try again to locate my phone, with no luck.
Mind you, I'm over 100 miles away from home. I have nowhere to stay, no phone to call anyone, my acct. has already been debited for the cost of the room and I don't have enough to pay for it again. So I return to the Best Western in hopes they can contact Customer Service for me. A different front desk clerk is working as shift change has come and gone, I explain my situation in hopes that maybe he could again contact customer service and find the problem for my missing reservation. He also tells me no there's nothing he can do about it there is no person with my name in the system. Yet he indicates to me that the business cards on the counter have the customer service number on them that I could call if I had a phone but I don't. And he also shuts me down.
So with nowhere to go and no money to get a room elsewhere with I spend the night in my car. Upon returning home the next day, I go and replace my phone I locate my missing reservation and find to my mistake that I made the reservation for the wrong location. Now I understand that this is my mistake ultimately but was a little bit of effort from the staff I believe it could have been resolved in a much more satisfying manner.
I'm ultimately just disappointed at the generation of....... "it's not my problem,or not my job".!
What ever happened to real "Customer Service"?

I will never stay at this location again. Desk staff was cool, however the security bum was horrible. We attended a wedding at Black pearl. Got a room, so we didn’t have to drive too late. Security kick out family who were clearly just enjoying the wedding and before 1030pm!! The power trip was too much. He cussed at me and locked my veteran spouse out the hotel since we’re “associated” with another room. This place is for elderly. You have tiptoes and whisper between the hours of 10am and 9am! The elevator takes 4 minutes… so be prepared to just walk. I’ve stayed at best western for sports and this by far is the worst ever.

ALL staff exceeded my expectations with respect to courtesy and professionalism - and the amenities and room are VERY well maintained
