  My stay at Best Western was pleasant overall, with a great breakfast that offered plenty of variety. I'm rating 4 stars due to the check-in process. They tried to charge me for the stay (which I almost paid because I was tired and thought it was just the deposit) because they couldn’t see my gift card payment in their system. It took awhile but they had to check the other system to see it, excuse was they don't normally check that sytem. Well maybe they should or change their process to notify them.

  The rooms are clean; however, the water is always cold, and it takes about 15 minutes to get it even warm.

  Come back to this place over and over again. Friendly staff and located to many places within walking distance. Bonus, cold beer and wasn’t attached.

  While the service was wonderful, unfortunately this hotel falls victim to a common issue: they don't have scheduled deep cleans for their HVAC units. This can cause health issues for not just guests but for employees as well. Upon entering my room smelled musty and sour. Having been a hotel manager for 8 years, I know that smell. Sure enough the wall mount AC unit was covered in black and penicillium mold. I wiped down the grate thinking that would take care of it but upon taking the cover off the unit to get the mold on the inside grate, I noticed that this has likely never been properly cleaned. The staff was very kind and gracious, but management should schedule time for maintenance to vacuum and sanitize the internal unit on a rotating basis. (Industry tip: use an air compressor and vinegar)
