Person at front desk was rude when asked about not being notified of the hotel exit being blocked off prior to checking in. The area was not the best. You could whenever another room flushed the toilet. It was loud music being played at 3am. The water was lukewarm in the shower. Breakfast service didn’t start at 6:30am. Had no option but to take a Lyft to go to my event because I could not drive my car because the hotel exit was blocked.

The good - Great location, good parking, and the beds were comfortable. The bad - While the hotel was mostly clean in the main area, closer inspection outside the lobby looked dingy with many poorly executed improvised repairs throughout. The hot water was a problem. The sink would get scalding near instantly, but the shower took 20+ mins to get warm and would then alternate between warm and frigid cold about every 45 seconds. This rendered the shower practically unuseable. The maintenance crew did not seem surprised, but it's hard to know as it wasn't possible to explain the issue b/c he would interrupt every 5 seconds with "nonononono." This rudeness was common with other staff as well. No room change or any solution was offered. Breakfast was executed poorly compared to other BW properties. Worst the front desk staff lied about policy when checking out early. I was in the lobby with all bags 30 mins before check out time. Was told I would have to contact BW customer service for the proper refund of the unused night. By the time I was able to speak with a BW CSR it was after 11 am which caused additional complications and took more time. BW then told me that the cancelation and refund would have to be completed by the staff at the hotel. Thankfully BW costumer service was willing to facilitate the request. Horrible experience.

It’s alright. Not dirty, but not very clean either (my room). Expensive, but that’s Nashville. Location was OK, 15 to 20 min. walk to Broadway. Massage chairs in the lobby were a fun addition, not every hotel has it. Breakfast was good for American standards, with fresh, customizable omelets.

Very impressed by the cleanliness of the room & the entire place. Staff are super friendly. Very welcoming & happy to be helpful any way they can. Miss Tina who runs the breakfast bar knows her stuff. She keeps the place in order & is extremely accommodating. Location worked well for our stay. Walkable for most + we used lyft service for 2 of our late nights from Broadway! Fair price. Highly recommend this Best Western.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! After driving 8 hours to this hotel, we were hoping for more than to be told that our room was sold to someone else. We booked a room at this hotel for the weekend and prepaid for it. We were driving from quite far to get there and wouldn’t be getting there until late in the morning after midnight, so we had called ahead to make sure our room would not be cancelled. They told us that was completely fine and not to worry about it. But when we finally arrived at 3am they told us that they sold our room to someone else and wouldn’t have a place to stay. AGAIN we had called ahead to tell the that we would be coming at this time and they said that it was ok. They even had a note saying we’d be there after midnight so they didn’t cancel. They said that it was okay though because out of the niceness of their hearts, we could sleep on the massage chairs IN THE PUBLIC LOBBY and they would refund us because they are so accommodating. We were not receiving the room we had already paid for, so of course, they would be refunding us. We had to spend about 30 minutes to an hour calling other hotels to try and find a room because other hotels were booked, and the front desk guy who obviously didn’t care he had sold our room decided not to walk us. He told us though that he’d speak to the manager, and we’d be receiving a refund later that morning when the manager came in. We finally found a new hotel, and thank goodness because the location of this hotel is so far from everything, and it honestly looks really run down. After the weekend was done, the refund had not come through still, so we had to drive BACK to the hotel and talk to another employee who, although was more apologetic, was just as helpful. He scanned my ID and card to directly refund me without having to go through Expedia. He said he would be able to get us the refund later that day when the manager came in. Monday arrived, and I got a call from a manager saying we needed to reach out to Expedia for the refund… whatever. I contacted Expedia and FINALLY got a refund started. Even then, I didn’t get refunded for the travel insurance and had to pay more for the other hotel when this hotel didn’t compensate me for the inconvenience or the time wasted having to TRACK down a refund. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel and would highly suggest others avoid this hotel. The employees are not on the same page at all, and at the end of the day, they all avoided accountability because they sold our room, which means I’m out money and they still got theirs. The least they could do is pay the difference, but they didn’t even take the chance to truly apologize and offer any sort of compensation to make it right.
