- DMdeep MOct 2, 20253.0For the price these rooms are dated, the hotel looks better on the outside than inside. You can tell it's aging on the inside. However, it doesn't smell, it offers the basic amenities and the customer service was friendly. A bonus was the location - its walking distance from Starbucks, a 7 eleven, a grocery store and more.
- SCsharan carrollSep 12, 20251.0Full disclosure, we had stayed at this hotel a year ago. Great experience. As a result, decided to go with it again. We booked a 3 night stay in a non-smoking room with queen bed. (Unfortunately, the room we received fronted a main highway— Highway 7 is a main truck route through Mission.) My partner went for a swim that afternoon, absolutely wonderful pool! Returning to our room my partner plugged in the hairdryer after showering. NO POWER! It was not a matter of resetting the outlet. We tried the outlet outside the bathroom, same issue. I called the front desk using the night table phone—no dial tone. Maintenance WAS prompt in arriving, but the inconvenience of drying and fixing ones hair without a mirror for my partner was ☹️ That night, returning from an evening out, the smell of smoke was very evident. Went to the front desk as my partner has asthma. Confirmed they were non-smoking rooms but smoking is permitted on the “mini-balconies”. I was advised maybe the smoke was due to the air conditioning unit that is circulating the air from outside. Ok. Fine. I won’t even go into the full breakfast at this point. Suffice it to say, I would not recommend this hotel at all based on what has been my experience with booking with Expedia.
