  Asked to cancel a reservation that is still FOUR MONTHS OUT and they denied me. Plenty of time to still fill that room so keeping my money in spite of me not staying with them is plain bad practice.

  Safe. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean. Nice staff. That's it! Everything all of you are looking for in a hotel in the review section. The staff are super helpful and kind. Yes, in Miami you are going to meet a LOT of businesses that have employees that do not speak English. It's part of the charm of Miami, but can be a little scary when ordering food and they start asking you things you don't understand haha! Not the case at this Best Western, so don't fret. The location feels safe. I am a jogger and while I didn't jog here, I did scope out the place during a short walk. For the most part you're just going to be in your room anyway, not much to do around the hotel. QUIET! I don't know how they did it, but I am looking out my window right now at large airplanes taxiing and taking off. I literally hear NONE of them. I am a LIGHT sleeper, and last night I slept like a baby. To be honest, I value a quiet hotel over a safe one. This one was BOTH! The bathroom had an AIR VENT which for some reason is so rare in hotels now. The bed was so comfortable (For me). Not too hard and not too soft. The bathroom HAD A BATH!!!! Which I love after a jog or workout. The room looks update. Very clean, very big, and very clean. I really love it. My guess is that this hotel is a common stop for folks flying in to Miami to get on a cruise the next day. It isn't going to attract "Miami vacationers" or party people. It's mostly tired couples or families ready to get in bed for an early morning cast off. I heard NO ONE in the halls. Albeit, I am here Tuesday to Thursday. Not exactly a heavy time of the week for vacationers. I can find almost nothing to complain about with this hotel, but I till post a few observations: - Yes you can tell it is an old hotel. I have a sensitive nose and I DO NOT detect mold or mildew. I am sure it's THERE but if it is, I can not detect it. It is clear they have done some upgrades but tiny things like the elevators being slow and loud remind you that it's been here a while. -Wifi ... the wifi is solid and fast... but the network name is "Miamiairport" and the hotel is literally 100 yards from the airport. Which makes me wonder if they even have wifi at this hotel or are just telling guests to use the airport wifi haha! It may just be what they call their network but, still seemed off. location. - Breakfast. Definitely "Meh" but come on; you are in Miami. There are so many amazing Cuban [places with amazing breakfasts, don't waste a breakfast on a hotel buffet. I had oatmeal with yogurt, grabbed a banana, and headed out for some Cuban food. - Water pressure. Ok for a shower, but very slow for the bath. Took a long time for the bath to fill up. Ultimately, I would stay here again and again.,

  Prices here are low because the quality of guest and service are as such. I've stayed here a lot but this was my last time. Shampoo dispensers in the showers do not work, people coming off the street to have 'complimentary' breakfast, and generally unclean rooms (see picture). Spend a bit more, stay elsewhere, and live like a human.

  Estuve una noche, tiene una excelente relación precio calidad, estaba con mi hija pequeña, los chicos del front desk fueron muy amables, el desayuno estuvo variado, todo muy limpio, muy recomendable, sin duda volvería

  Free breakfast - it was great. Automatic pancake maker. Location: close to the airport but in addition, there is a golf course and the Curtiss Mansion in the back. We played football and walked around. The Mansion is a must see - 5 min walk. There are NO STORES to walk to. Bring your own water. Elevators are fast - 4 floors in total. Great hotel all in all for a two stay visit from the airport.
