Terri at reservations/front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good . Restaurants within walking distance and downtown Orillia and Waterfront just 5 min. drive. (Agree with previous comment about not letting the outside fool you. ) Would recommend this hotel and hope to stay again.

AND even the morning desk lady had major attitude like it was our fault they don't know how to do there job. Will not be returning any time soon
- JJJamieSep 2, 20255.0Great first stay at this location. The room was nice & clean, spacious, and also very quiet. The hotel has had major upgrades and has a very comfortable feel in the lobby. There were renovations being done on the restaurant end, but I was still able to get the free hot breakfast which was pretty decent. The fitness room has everything you'd need, but the swimming pool is a good size, also theres a sauna. Every amenity you can think of. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I booked multiple nights but different rooms, instead of having to check out & in again, the girl at the desk was able to put me on one room. That was very helpful and much appreciated. This place sits right on Memorial Avenue, a main street, and right next to Highway 12. Location can't get much better.
