  Not originally from Jackson, but reserved a stay here because my mom had a procedure done at a hospital here. Didn’t realize how sketchy the location was until I arrived , but I had no trouble as far as that. My main concern was the receptions Shannon and how unpleasant and nonchalant she was toward not only me but guests in general. I asks for a towel at 7:30 a.m. and she told me I had to wait until 11:00 (check out) basically to receive some once housekeeping comes in. My mom is disabled so we needed more towels to assist her with her bath which is why we gotta handicapped accessible room. I was confuse because I never had any issue with towels at any hotel I’ve been to. She told me that she would make an exception but that’s not what they normally do. She didn’t greet me even though greeted her. Not friendly at all and made me feel like a bother. She seemed to be more occupied with the conversation she was having over the phone in her AirPods. Other than that , the rooms were clean, spacious , and comfortable.

  I’ve stayed here once before. We have to come herd for my mom because she’s disabled and had procedures done here in Jackson. My first visit was very nice but my current visit makes me question coming back here. The front desk lady whom goes by the name of “Shannon” was very rude. Acted as if she wasn’t getting paid to be here. Barely acknowledged any of the guest. I felt like an 100% inconvenience to her. She had her AirPods in talking to someone while i was trying to talk to her. I just don’t think her customers service skills are good enough to be in this type of business. I paid my money, i expect friendly service AT LEAST.

  I requested an early check-in on a busy weekend. Upon arrival, I was told that I couldn't. Though I understood, the lady working the front desk was very rude and unaccommodating. My card was charged before we checked in and the bathroom in my room was less than up to par. There were stains on the counter and the tub filled up as you showered. The toilet was cracked and I didn't like that the walls are so thin you can hear the tv next door to you or doors slamming in the hallway and people walking by. I enjoyed the gated parking and the room was decent outside of the hygiene of the bathroom. Great area as its near the highway and surrounded by many food establishments and gas stations. Erica was great! She was nice and had a very inviting spirit.

  My fiancé and I made a reservation here when we were coming through Jackson on a work trip. We got to the hotel at about 11:30-12 at night. We have made multiple reservations with Best Western over 5 days on this trip. We have always made the reservations in his name and used his card. When we went to check in, the woman at the desk asked for his ID and card. She asked how old he was and when he said 23, she said he had to be 25. I spoke up and let her know I was 25 and asked if we could just change it to my name. She said no we’d have to make a whole new reservation. We said that’s fine and go ahead and make us a new one. She said she couldn’t make a new one because he was with me and he wasn’t 25. I have heard of hotels not allowing reservations being made by people under 25 but I’ve never heard of anyone being denied a stay at one because they had someone with them under 25. Overall was a bad experience, kinda got the impression that she just didn’t want to go through the trouble. Definitely do not recommend.
