  My stay was Oct. 23-26. THERE WERE ROACHES IN MY ROOM! At no point did I hear a vacuum cleaner being used in the building. Housekeeping never entered my room during the entire stay. No fresh towels, etc. Saturday morning, we were told that the person in charge of the breakfast "didn't show up". The machines in the fitness center did not work Sunday morning because they were not plugged in and there were no cords to be found. Even the ATM machine in the lobby was out of order. There were ROACHES IN MY ROOM!

  My experience at best Western plus in Flint I would rate a 2 1/2 customer service could have been better as i was checking in the women at the front desk asked me for my information i told her i have a conformation number for the King suite with spa bath personal jacuzzi in the room I paid for it ahead of time she proceeded to look me up in the system. She says your room is not paid for it. I said yes it is. I have my confirmation right here. I proceeded to try to give her my confirmation number she just kept repeating herself stating that the room was not paid for so finally she caught her mistake. Seeing the room was paid for our room wasn’t ready. She said give them about 30 minutes so we waited around finally we get in our room I’m looking around I noticed the room is a little bit on the filthy side some rose petals on the floor that I did not bring a woman’s Hair tie on the floor that was not mine. Dust on the lamps next to the bed with cobwebs, dust, and cobwebs between the bed and the nightstand at the head of the bed Jacuzzi had footprints in the bottom of the tub in the morning time, it stated that it was supposed to be a hot and cold breakfast. It was just a cold breakfast the price that I paid for this suite I was expecting much better customer service The rooms need to be way more cleaner location was a good location. Overall, there was quite a bit around gas station, fast food and other restaurants grocery stores.

  Located right down the street from coffee, Meijer, and lots of other stores. Great pricing. Kind and helpful desk staff. Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. Normally they have an ice machine on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor, but the 2nd floor ice machine was taken for maintenance and the 3rd floor ice machine was broken. Rooms were fairly clean. Didn't like that the fan cover in the bathroom looked like it hadn't cleaned in several days. Quiet at night. Micorwave and mini fridge were working. AC seemed to be working well. Complementary breakfast smelled good (I did not get around to trying it). They don't have a luggage cart or bottle opener for guests to use - they said they were stolen. Overall, I would probably come back if I was in the area again.

  10/3/25: Traveled from New York, with my cousin and sister to Flint, Michigan for my cousin's funeral. Kayla & Tina, (both desk clerks) were very friendly and professional. Shockingly, the bed by the window had filthy covers/sheets with blood and pubic hairs on them. (I have photos but they are too disgusting to post.) PLEASE DON'T ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANOTHER CONSUMER.

  I checked into a room that had a queen bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed had pee stains and was gross. We asked them to change our room but since they were “full” they offered to give us extra blankets to cover the piss and other random stains. I’ve been trying to talk to someone about it but every time I call, the manager is not available and they don’t ever reach out to me. I checked out early and they did nothing to accommodate us in the situation or fix the mistake.
