- SMshari mcOct 21, 20253.0We are from Ontario. Travelling around the East Coast. We came into town to find a nicer Hotel to stay at. There isn’t much in the little towns on our way back to Quebec from Nova Scotia. We phoned three times. Each time we were on hold and no one ever picked up… finally by the 4th time. A man at the front desk answered i said hello and then he hung up on me.. Maybe he didn't hear me but he didn't even try.. we were tired and really needed a bed. Right before We got to the hotel, i thought ill call and see what happens, I watched as three people at the front desk watched the phone ring.. they weren’t busy helping customers or on the phone. They were busy chatting to each other. Two men, one woman. When we entered the hotel i walked up very politely to ask for a room and all three of them ignored me for a good 5 minutes. I stood there as they continued to talk and waited patiently until they acknowledged me.. finally when they did, i asked if they had a room, they did. I said i had called multiple times. They never said anything just looked at me. They didnt care… at all! . If I wasn’t desperately tired i would have walked out and found another place to stay. The hotel is nice, rooms are nice. Beds are hard, small pillows. This hotel could do way better. Hire polite staff because the ignorance from the staff is unacceptable. Wouldn’t come back here!!!!!
- BBBruce BriersOct 15, 20255.0Stayed here on a Monday night. Front desk staff were very nice, helpful & easy to switch between French to English. Hotel is in an excellent location. Right off the highway. Close to several restaurants. Our room was a good size. Clean & had everything one needed for a stay.
- SCStan ChmelykOct 15, 20255.0Simply the best bang for the buck. Rooms are very clean with laminate flooring. Pool and hot tub available. Breakfast is nothing extravagant but adequate. Rooms are very well priced. We stay there frequently when driving to Ontario.
- SBSamuel SamMaster BrunetOct 13, 20255.0The room we rented was for 5 people (two couples and a kid). The accomodations were very well maintained and clean. Because we are in the mountain, the view from the window is beautiful, at least facing the foot of it. They have a small swimming pool and hot tub, so bring your swimsuit if you stop by. They have very basic gym equipment that might need more love, but it exists, witch is a plus. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Breakfast is some of the best I've had. Good meats and egg, a pancake machine that cooks on a conveyor (very cool), and they have a gluten free only toaster and you can ask the staff for a slice or two of gluten free. All in all, a pleasant experience.
- JMJonathan Massey-smithOct 10, 20251.0Horrible place to stay, elevator wasn't working for entirety of our 24hr stay, towels and bed covers stained, didn't want to chance sleeping under the sheets, roll away bed had a decrepid spring-filled mattress like a bed of nails. Stay somewhere else!
