- SRS RobAug 13, 20251.0The staff was unfriendly. They didn't clean our room because they said they thought they smelled smoke. However, they allowed us to book and pay for an additional night!! They are the WORST. If that was true, I'm sure they wouldn't have allowed us to stay again! Since you dis allow us to stay another night , you should've cleaned the darn room!! They suck and that was my worst experience with a hotel.

Upon checking in the woman at the counter asked for an additional payment of $80 to get our room. She could not explain where the charge came from, or what happened in general, only that to stay in the room, we were expected to pay. I don’t know if it was a Hotels.Com issue or a BestWestern issue, but the entire situation was unacceptable. Thankfully we live just 2 hrs away from Raleigh and we had the option to go home.
- PSPaige SmithJul 26, 20251.0We were in town for a convention. Unfortunately, due to said convention the prices were higher than they should. I thought it would be ok since being a best western plus. It definitely wasn’t close. The staff was wonderful! But there seems to be no AC in the hallways or anywhere other than if you put your room on cold. The elevator had a weird smell. We got a king bed room and the bed was horrible. Not soft and comfy at all. Due to a big gap under the door and one of our neighbors smoking our room smelt like weed all night, that at one point it woke me up. Passing rooms in the hallway you can hear peoples conversations, so the walls are very thin. The thing that didn’t sit with us the most was the paneling or wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling around the door way and toilet paper holder. It was covered with black mold behind it. We were suppose to stay 2 nights, but decided to leave early and eat that last night cost. We would have rather drove 4 1/2 hours home than stay the second night. I wish we went somewhere else even though it was a bit more expensive. I would not stay here again.
