I had one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. On the morning of breakfast, I arrived at 8:59 a.m., just before the 9:00 cut-off. Instead of being greeted politely, the breakfast staff was hostile, telling me I was “lucky” to have made it in time. When I went to use the waffle machine—the only item I wanted—I was refused, even though other food was still available.
When I tried to calmly explain, the staff member waved her hands in my face, blocked me from the juice machine, and, most distressingly, told me to “go back from where I came from.” This was offensive, unprofessional, and extremely upsetting. Even another staff member from the front desk tried to intervene on my behalf, but the breakfast attendant refused to help.
To make matters worse, my room had serious maintenance issues throughout the stay. The shower flooded the bathroom multiple times, and on one night, the shower handle broke in my hand while I was using it. After working long days, these problems only added to the frustration.
This was an unacceptable experience both in terms of service and facilities. I will not be staying at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.
