Very nice Best Western. Seemed new. Very clean. Comfortable room. Desk clerk friendly and professional. Breakfast 🥞🍳 was one of the best Best Western we have had. The ladies preparing the meal and the homemade Spanish salsa was very good. The sheets on the bed had a strong detergent smell which was very unpleasant or I would have rated it a 5 star.

Imagine taking your 5 year old to the pool and both of you walking into a used condom on the sidewalk near the pool. The room itself was fairly cleaned but it would be smart if someone would walk the property for cleanliness. Also, while I was out getting some food, a random dude walked in my room and walked back out. My daughter called and I went to the front desk where they acted oblivious as to who it was. They watched the camera and told me it was the maintenance man. That was the first stay. I chunked it up to them just not being aware, so I went and let the woman at the front desk know and she put on gloves and got it up herself. I forgave that incident and checked in again the following week. Again, the room looked cleaned so initially I was good. The following night of my 2nd stay, my daughter ended up tripping on the hanging cover, and the spread and sheet pulled back further and to my surprise, there was dried blood on the sheets. My daughter went down to the front desk to let them know. The young lady there told my daughter we could switch rooms or get 3 tickets for “2 snacks per ticket” (because somehow blood stained sheets equates to eating in their eyes) and new bedding. When THE SHEETS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED BUT WERE NOT. The front desk receptionist sent a message that I would be contacted by management the following morning. I had my newborn grandson dropped off with me, so moving rooms was not an option as we would need to gather everything and I had worked all day and was too tired. So we changed the sheets and I kept them in the room to show management. I was never contacted by management so after I finished working for the day, I went down to the front and took the sheets to the front desk and laud them out where she could see the blood. Since management hadn’t called, I got the corporate number and the housekeeping supervisor’s name which is Lucy. I called corporate and was told I would receive a call before I checked out. They never called either. From these two experiences I can say, this location is nasty and to find blood stained sheets by my daughter is really outrageous to say the least. On top of that, no one could justify why..while knowing there is someone that supposedly does a room check before someone checks in. This tells me the housekeeping staff are nasty individuals, filthy and has no integrity. Honestly, what if you found your child had been lying in someone else’s dried blood? It takes 0 effort to be a decent person and these people are not decent.

I was staying here several weeks for work at a loyalty rate of $106 a night. On the day I was scheduled to check out I had to extend by 1 day for work. Without even informing me, they charged me $291 for that extra night. They claimed the price went up because of a football game 15 miles away. Instead of adjusting the rate to something reasonable and retaining a customer they chose to clip me the extra $100 and lose business. I gave them every opportunity to be part of the solution to inflation in America but instead they chose to be part of the problem. I wont be back.
