- LFL FarmerOct 9, 20255.0My husband and I stayed here for 5days and we really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff was very friendly Willie that works the front desk he’s an older black man. He’s so sweet and very helpful. He’s the real gem of this hotel. There’s an older white lady with braces on her teeth that works the front desk also. She’s polite but not very friendly or helpful as she could be. I asked for towels her response was how long are you staying? Like I’m annoying her. My key cards stop working and she was working front desk this night and she again acts like she doesn’t want to be bothered. She just over all seems like she has an attitude but tries her best to cover it. I didn’t care for her at all. The hotel is very quiet and clean. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is great, lots of restaurants near by. It’s close to Pensacola if you want to go to the beach. It’s 2hrs away from New Orleans. Breakfast was good not great it’s potatoes sausage eggs everyday. they have oatmeal packages, instant grits packs, fruit loops, raisin brand cereals, different breads, waffle makers, boiled eggs, a yogurt machine, apples and oranges. That was every day. I’d definitely book with them every time Im down that way other hotels had bad reviews or they’re overpriced. If you’re looking for a clean quiet place to stay that’s not going to break your pockets then this is it. the only thing I didn’t like is the fridge in the room it’s so tiny I couldn’t fit a gallon of milk I had to lay it side ways on the top. The locks need to be replaced as I kept having to get my key cards reprogrammed and so did others. The hotel can definitely use an update but it’s not extremely outdated. It’s very well kept. My suggestion is to immediately up date the locks and replace all the fridges in the room with larger ones. You literally can only keep bottles of water or very small containers. families like my self with children 4and under we have to keep milk and food.
