I'm tired of throwing good money to these disgusting hotels! This hotel's common area decor actually looked nice. But the floors were dirty. Bathrooms nasty. We were here with two other couples. ALL of our room's bathrooms were gross. And although this was probably the worse I've encountered in the US, most hotels are like this...at times even the pricey ones. BUT, NOT in Europe. See, Europeans wouldn't put up with this...they don't want to live in filth. But apparently, American's are fine with it. Gunk around faucets, fingerprints all over the doors, black moldy caulk around tub. Unacceptable. Tell your housekeeping they need to actually use a sponge on the surfaces, not just spray and walk away.
CLR or Lime Away will remove the gunk around the faucet.
ZEP for that etched ring around the toilet that rarely gets scrubbed.
Blue can of EZ Off will clean up that black dirty tile baseboard edge and grout.
And any ol' cleaner will remove the dirty disgusting prints off doors. BTW, why don't they ever feel the need to wipe down bathroom doors and walls??? What is dripping all over the walls? What were those brownish yellow fingerprints from? Who knows, but we can only wonder.
Also, when you do caulk, get a pro.

We came down for a “family reunion” type get together and we got to use the little breakfast area as a sitting/eating area. Vera was absolutely amazing and was so attentive and very very sweet. She was more than willing to accommodate us and my family will 100% be booking here next time they come through town. Vera made the experience absolutely wonderful♥️

In giving reviews I try to only give a review if I am completing the business. Not this time.
We checked in a bit later than what we normally, but it had been a long day and I really wasn't concerned that everything would be okay when we actually got to the hotel. Have always had pretty decent stays when staying at Best Western. This time we didn't even make it into the hotel before there was a problem. There was absolutely no parking left at the front of the building. Back lot was basically empty, 1 or 2 vehicles. But there was not one outdoor lighting. I was with my husband but we agreed, parking there would not be safe.

I booked a room with a king bed and kitchenette. For 4 nights while I was working in town. When I first walked in, the smell was awful. I had to buy Febreze and spray it often to be able to stand it. The toilet didn’t look like it’d been scrubbed in a bit since it had a ring around the bowl. I didn’t like getting into the dirty shower barefoot but wasn’t aware I would need shower shoes since I figured it’d be clean. The chair in the room looked like it has bodily fluids down the front of it and the headboard had oily handprints all over it. Unfortunately everything else was booked in town for a race so I didn’t have other options. Otherwise, I’d have gone elsewhere. Hoping I don’t ever have to go back there.
