- LMLying on the MoonOct 15, 20252.0We had a bad experience with this location. I appreciate that the Inn did their best to resolve these issues but it was definitely disappointing. We ordered a jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was not working. We were refunded half the price of the room back, and I realize that there's not much else they could have done but it would have been nice if they'd ensured it was in working order before we got there. It might be worth calling and inquiring ahead but really it should be up to the hotel to maintain their rooms. We would not have booked this hotel if not for the private jetted tub. The second disappointment was that we bought free breakfast with our booking, which we were also excited about. We spent around forty per person, eighty dollars total. We were offered a coupon instead, that offered a redeemable value of the lowest costing item on their menu which came up to around twenty or so dollars total. We ended up spending another forty or so. The waitress also seemed reluctant to even Honor the coupon we had and had to go check with the Inn before asking us to pay the difference which we already knew about (it was on the coupon) but was a bit annoying to have it rubbed in when we'd already spent eighty bucks for a free breakfast we didn't get. Though in all the staff were nice and everything else in Cobourg was absolutely lovely. We did not try a single place that we did not love.

The Rueben sandwich combo was on par with our Norwegian Cruise experience. Excellent. My Wife’s Blackened Chicken was very good as well.

From numerous calls to requesting several early check-ins, the hotel staff did everything they could for us, and we did not hear one complaint from any of our guests. We also really appreciated the parking space. With three weddings happening on the night of ours, there was always parking available and it came at no cost to anyone. Very happy and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel to stay at in Cobourg, in the perfect location close to breakfast spots and for us, walking distance to our venue, the Mill. We also took advantage of the great live entertainment and food at Arthur's Pub on the night of our rehearsal. Everything was so convenient and perfect for a wedding party.
