We loved our stay at this hotel. Lloyd was our check in gentleman and he is perfect for this position. He went above and beyond to be kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He truly cared about our stay. It was a delightful way to begin our stay!
The room was super clean and the towels had cute designs. The mirror lights up so be sure to check it out during your stay, it's pretty neat. The room was super quiet and as always, I love their pillows! The place was a great choice for us and we would definitely stay here again if in the area. Smiles!

Where should I start? Let’s begin with the fact that I have two certified service dogs—one for myself and one for my husband. The front desk would only allow me to have one service dog without charge and made me pay for the other, despite being provided documentation. This is a direct violation of the Service Animal Law.
Next, when we entered our room, the AC was off and the room had a damp, unpleasant smell. Even after running the AC for hours, it barely worked, and the room remained hot and uncomfortable. I wasn’t able to get proper rest, so my husband asked the front desk to change rooms. They claimed the hotel was full, which seemed highly unlikely given the low tourism rate in Leesburg.
After a miserable night, we asked for a late checkout so we could at least rest a little longer. The front desk denied the request outright, saying they would charge us even for one additional hour.
Breakfast was another disappointment. When I walked into the breakfast area, both staff members were sitting at a table on their phones. I politely greeted them with a “Good morning,” but neither bothered to look up or respond. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was astounding.
Overall, this was a horrible experience. I usually stay at Best Western because my husband is a former employee and speaks highly of the brand. However, moving forward—especially since we will be visiting more often for work—we will not be staying here again, nor will we recommend this location to our clients.

This was my 2nd stay at this location, and I should have never given this place another chance. The front desk clerk was not friendly, not welcoming and lacked any personality. He charged me $15 to check in early although my room was ready and he didn't explain anything like pool hours, breakfast etc. I even tried to lighten the encounter because it was so quiet and awkward I said, "I last stayed here in August and remember you checking me in, how are you"? he looked at me like I had 3 heads and said "Ohh". Then went silent again. He handed me my keys and that was all out of him. I then had to ask pool hours, laundry room level, breakfast time and when is checkout etc.
I'm a Guest Service Supervisor in Las Vegas and would have pulled this front desk clerk aside if I overheard this encounter. There were 2 other employees in the area just looking at us but didn't say anything. Then to top it off my room was so gross and skeevy. There were black hairs on my white comforter, stains on the brown couch, hair on the shower walls and the shower pressure was so bad I noticed black mold on the ceiling in the shower and on the ceiling outside the bathroom door. I documented photos as well. Really gross!
I went to bed feeling so grossed out and couldn't wait to leave this place. I usually stay at a Hilton by this Leesburg; Florida location didn't offer many options. I'm definitely never staying at this location ever again. Yuck!!!!
