Rooms are very modern and clean! Absolutely exceptional for a best western - it was like a 5 star hotel almost. Customer service at the front desk was great. I love that there’s a gym you can use later at night. Very clean and modern location, it’s also very quiet. I would have given 5 stars but there’s no breakfast offered, not even a grab and go item which is disappointing when compared to most best westerns. Also glad they offered water at check in :)

A very nice place to stay when traveling on the coast north of Los Angeles. Just below Santa Barbara, the hotel is right off the 101 freeway and close to a number of natural coastal parks. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The prices are moderate and the rooms are comfortable. They do not have free breakfast, but there is a decent restaurant in the hotel. I enjoyed my stay...

Stayed here in mid-September for a wedding. Staff were very friendly, the beds were cozy, and the shower had great water pressure. The coffee and water station was a nice touch since there’s no complimentary breakfast. Location is convenient — close to restaurants and not far from the beach. On the downside, Wi-Fi requires asking the front desk for a code (not in the room), the desk isn’t staffed overnight, and daily room service isn’t standard — you have to request it, and communication wasn’t great. No microwave in the room either. Overall a decent stay. I’d rate it a 3.5 if possible, but with the cons it’s a 3.

This hotel was, in my opinion not a four star. If its labeled this due to proximity to the beach ok, but its very true when people have commented on the walls being thin. When we first walked in we found the room to be tidy at first but then when further inspected we found that the fridge was dirty, there was hair in the tub. Things were not clean the way some would expect upon check in. They only provide housekeeping upon request which was odd, but when we did ask for it two days later they said they didn't have enough staff to clean our room, but to their credit we came back to a cleaned room on the same day with some of our asks, but somehow they managed to leave hairs on the tub not belonging to either of us. All towels are above the toliet, so don't leave the seat up. The microwaves are not in room but at the end of the hall near the vending machines. The front desk foks were pleasant for the most part. A four star hotel should offer breakfast, especially for the price and even though they have a restaurant it didn't look like it was functional. Overall, it could be manged and maintained better and not indicative of most best western plus across the nation.
