- DJDawn JohnsonSep 30, 20254.0The only flaw is floors without carpets — which means you can hear people walking above you. Nasty if there is a whole family. Other than that it’s pure perfection. I’ve never been in a hotel that was more clean — everywhere. They even had blowers in the hallways to move the air so it doesn’t get all smelly. Windows open so you can get fresh air. Full breakfasts! With decent coffee. Not great, but decent — if you like coffee on the stronger side. With real 1/2 & 1/2. And they have this machine in the lobby that dispenses all kinds of drinks: hot chocolate, late, regular coffee . . . It is absolutely delicious, expect for regular coffee that tastes weird. All the staff I engaged with were great. Fantastic location. New Leaf grocery store is almost next to it. Whole Foods is down the street. Lots of other eating places. Two Bird Bookstore is a few minutes away and a great bookstore, too. Easy walk down to the Capitola beach. I love this place, except for hearing people walking above you. Can’t hear them talk, but you can hear them walk. The upside to that is rooms are really easy to keep clean.

Impressed with how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Breakfast had lots of options, coffee available 24hrs. Great jacuzzi and the pool was heated. Next time I’ll book directly with BW instead of using a third party.

Some plants or art work would make the view more pleasant. Breakfast was very good: many hot and cold options. Coffee was always ready and available in the lobby. Pool and Jaccuzi were clean, although jaccuzi was just warm, not hot.
