    Horrible Experience – Never Booking Again This was my second time staying at Best Western Plus Cambridge, Canada. Two years ago, the experience was pleasant, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment and I regret the decision. The room was in poor condition—old, musty, and not well-maintained. The air conditioning and heating units were outdated and made loud, disruptive noises throughout the night. The bathtub looked worn out, and the toilet had very weak water pressure. Because of that, a simple tissue clog caused an overflow in the middle of the night, which was a major inconvenience. Housekeeping was unreliable. We placed the “clean room” sign on the door, but no one ever came. It felt like basic service was being ignored. Additionally, one of the key cards provided didn’t work, which added to the frustration of an already unpleasant stay. The only redeeming aspects were the quiet pool and the nicely designed lobby. Breakfast was okay - nothing memorable or extraordinary. After this experience, I will never book here again and I definitely won’t recommend this hotel to friends or family. It’s disappointing to see how much the quality has declined since our last visit.

    I am currently writing from another hotel I had to re locate to as the best western gave me a room that was full of black mold and smelled rancid like cat pee. When I asked if we could have a different room we were told it was completely sold out ( which it was ) We went out to buy a plug in air freshener after I asked if that would be ok , the lady at the desk said sure and to bring them the receipt I assume to compensate the cost. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of having to do this but we have a wedding to go to and need the accommodation. We lasted one hour in the room , my throat is sore and raspy my head is pounding and my sinuses are so irritated I'm missable and hoping an allergy pill will calm it all down. I have never been in a room like this anywhere before. It clearly has water damage throughout the whole room. We were on the top floor room 716. Stay clear away until they get those "renovations " I keep reading here in your replies. And don't even get me started that you charged me for a stay In and was booked for two days .. absolutely no one should be given that room at all, it is unacceptable and should not be offered to anyone for serious health violations!
