Do not expect anything from this motel. We travel often with our sports team, always at similar level hotels. The service here was horrible. The fitness center was closed down, so no where to fill water bottles. No bathroom open in lobby. No option for to use conference room. The breakfast was disgusting. Other hotels have always worked with our team when we need something, this hotel staff was so inflexible.

I should have known when I checked in. The lobby restroom was out of service for renovation and the desk clerk was rude to everyone, about that and pretty much everything. Why not post a nicely printed sign so she doesn't have to repeat herself 100 times a night? The room was *filthy*! Ick on the floor, mildew on the tub grout, dust bunnies around the furniture. And the stupid metal bed frame was not level, so clanked back and forth every time I rolled over. This scuzzy room is not what I expect from a Best Western. Shame on you. Shame on the lazy staff who can't be bothered to do their job(s). And the pool !! Oh. My. G*d. I have only seen one any worse in all of the traveling I have done for work or personal travel. Both the pool and hot tub have a *nasty* gray bathtub ring. I was hopeful that it was a mineral buildup, so scraped it with my thumbnail. Nope! It was a thick wad of greasy gunk that was obviously body oils and other stuff I don't wanna know about. I had already stepped into the pool before I noticed. Barf. I try to say nice things in reviews, but I just couldn't.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid This Hotel Our experience at the Best Western Suites in Caldwell, ID was awful from start to finish. The rooms were dirty, and the entire hotel lobby was covered in sheetrock dust from ongoing construction. It looked and felt like a work zone rather than a place to relax. To make things worse, one of the employees — a heavy-set man working the breakfast area — rudely accused us of not having a room and demanded our room number and last name in front of other guests. It was completely unprofessional and embarrassing. Yesterday, we were also disturbed in our room by hotel staff during their construction work. On top of that, the coffee maker in our room was broken and the TV didn’t work at all. For the price we paid, this stay was a huge disappointment. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this location until they finish construction, clean properly, and retrain their staff on how to treat paying guests.

Prior to my arrival, I informed the hotel that I would be accompanied by a service dog, providing a detailed description of the sensory services it provides. Upon check-in, the staff member inaccurately documented my service dog as a pet. I corrected the mistake and was asked to provide further information on the services provided. After explaining the sensory services, the staff member consulted a reference guide to verify the information. I believe that management should provide staff training on the types of services provided by service dogs to prevent delays and ensure customer comfort. Although I acknowledged the hotel's right to inquire, I had never encountered a business posing this question before. The repeated inquiry and curtness it was asked made me feel that my credibility was being questioned. Additionally, the front desk offers a selection of wines, including local options, for purchase. However, when I inquired about the availability of wine glasses for use with a purchased bottle, I was informed that they were not provided. Given the price point of the wine, I expected the hotel to offer wine glasses rather than paper cups. Consequently, we opted not to purchase a bottle.
