I stayed here while moving to a different state and arrive very early in the morning. I had paid for early check-in and was allowed to check in extremely early. Sara, the overnight clerk was so accommodating and kind. Breakfast was very good and I absolutely enjoyed my stay.

I like the location but they have 2 elevators and only one works. The laundry has no working washer or dryers, i was told there is Laundry mat by Krojers that is down the road after i asked where is somewhere i can wash at since i wash here. Rooms are small, no microwave just a mini fridge that freezes up.

Not quite what we had hoped but it served it's purpose, a decent place to stay. The rooms are a bit cramped and so is the bathroom (if someone is on the toilet and someone else is at the sink...well let's just say...they can touch). Our bathroom door was askew and didn't close properly and part of the sink vanity was broken. I had high hopes for the waffles at breakfast but they were not good. I'm not sure if the batter was bad or the syrup, but something wasn't right. And none of the juices were good. They were either very watered down or just plain water. There was a gentleman manning the area so I'm not sure what there were issues. On a side note, the bacon was fine and was a nice change compared to the usual sausage that hotels have.

We stayed at the Best Western for 10 days, it is conveniently located near shopping and driving there and back into Bloomington is a breeze. I experienced several things that were not easy to forget. 1) Washing clothes in one of their machines does not mean you can count on the drying being in working order when you want to use it. 2) just because there is an ice machine, does not mean it’s running. Sure, they tell you there is one, and when you go get ice, it’s easy to find. But when I wanted to get some ice it was not working. I was told… try the other floors. 3) there are two elevators for sure, but only one was working at a time. The number display was hanging out of the housing by an electric cord. I forgot to take a photo. 4) when I watched person making my bed, she put a fresh pillowcase on my pillow, then tossed the pillow into the floor and left it there until the bed was made. I watch to make sure she didn’t put it back on my bed with the now dirty pillow case. Guess what, she picked it up off the filthy carpet, which was never one vacuumed the duration of our stay, and proceeded to try to drop it into my now clean bed. I told her, I don’t want the dirty pillow on my bed- she didn’t speak English, and I don’t speak Hindi (?). So luckily there was a man with her who spoke some English, and he proceeded to explain to her what I had an issue with. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. 5) the air coming from the AC unit smelled terrible. I assume the filters don’t get changed much. The front desk staff is helpful, especially the women. Thank you for all your help. Thank you especially to the young woman at the front desk with the purple hair. Sorry, I forgot her name. I hope the place makes a few changes.
