- SKSteve KehlerOct 26, 20255.0The Barclay is the nicest chain hotel in Port Alberni. The building is generally in good condition, albeit showing its age a little. The rooms are nice - look to have been renovated maybe 10 years ago? They have been well maintained. The bed and pillow were comfortable and to my liking. The curtains are black out so sleeping in isn't a problem. Bathrooms are fine - no complaints (other than the tub drain being plugged). Didn't try the pool or hot tub. The fitness center was better than expected - a good number of pieces of equipment, along with some dumbbells. Front desk staff was friendly. Daily room service was good, towels were changed every other day. The nightly price for the Barclay is higher than others in town, but you get what you pay for.

- ATAriane ToepschSep 28, 20251.0Das Einchecken war erst um 16:00 Uhr möglich, keine Minute eher. Der Reinigungskraft musste der schmutzige Mülleimer von den Vorgängern hinterher getragen werden. Seife fehlte, es musste erst gefragt werden. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Rezeption war freundlich, das Zimmer sauber.
