- LKLinda KeenerOct 19, 20255.0We love the spacious room, an office and easy chair, a bathroom vent fan, clean linens, good maintenance, and a courtyard with actual green grass, tall trees, and small, whimsical bridges that kids would love. It is away from city noise up on a hill and the front staff is friendly and helpful. But the main reason we keep coming back is because the breakfast is always stellar: well stocked, good variety, delicious biscuits and gravy, and my husband’s favorite: pork tamales that seem homemade. The couple who are always there to help are friendly and conscientious. They have never run out of anything while we’re there. The whole place is family friendly and welcoming.

The location is absolutely beautiful and serene; surrounded by forest and lovely green lawns. Those interested in horse racing will find the track facilities within easy walking. We would highly recommend staying in this location!
- GCGreg CapersSep 19, 20255.0Arrived and met the clerk RobbyRay, a very nice and polite gentleman. He even stated if I hear to much noise just contact the front desk and they would handle it. The hotel was very quiet and I had a great nights sleep. I was going to rate them a four but when I went to get ice to leave at 6 am the cook already had breakfast out and if I was hungry go ahead and eat. I walked past the steam table and what I seen literally blew me away. I stay about 15-20 nights a month in a hotel or motel and I seen for the first time “pork tamales”! I opened them up and the were hand made and EXCELLENT! Kuddos to the cook! The best breakfast I have had in a very long time.
- JWJim WyattSep 19, 20255.0Located atop a mountain overlooking Ruidoso Downs, this is a beautiful well maintained property. Nice rooms, friendly staff and excellent hot breakfast served in a nice dining hall. Enjoyed walking the park like grounds. Would easily recommend you stay there.
