    Came here for a race, payed 387 for one night!!! They were price gouging and taking advantage of the race to more than double the prices. They also gave us a coupon to the crazy cow cafe, and that was horrible. Rooms were ok, but only one bed and they ran out of hideaway beds. Coffee maker did not work, and shower was dirty.

    This hotel has soft towels. It's a rarity as most hotels I've stayed in have scratchy towels. These were nice and soft. The front office staff was very nice and it was a quick and easy check-in. At check-in, I was provided a card for a free slice of pie at the Crazy Cow cafe which is located just across the parking lot from the hotel. I passed on that. However, I did enjoy a free breakfast the next morning at the Crazy Cow Cafe. The rooms were clean and came with a small microwave and a small refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold as well as goodies from The Creamery.

    We came here headed for Las Vegas and were greeted with open arms! Bill at the front desk gave us great advice on the area and gave us a goodie bag for the room. A very clean and pleasant motel, breakfast comes with and they have a giant heated pool. Highly recommend this property. You get treated like family!

    I want to share my experience with the customer service side of this hotel. I have not stayed here, so my review is based solely on how my situation was handled. First, I’ll admit this booking was my mistake. My daughter had a high school race at Beaver Mountain, and I mistakenly assumed it was near the city of Beaver. Being from this state, I know most races are usually held in that region, so I thought I booked correctly. Later, I realized Beaver Mountain is actually hundreds of miles away from Beaver. As soon as I discovered the error almost two weeks in advance, I contacted the hotel. I explained the situation, even providing a copy of the racing schedule as proof, and requested a refund. The hotel told me that since I booked through a third party and the reservation was non-refundable, they couldn’t process a refund because they didn’t have my payment details. That explanation made sense to me, and as someone who works in the travel industry, I understood the reasoning. So, I reached out to Expedia, the third party I had booked through. They were understanding and actually approved the refund request but explained it would still need final approval from the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel denied it. When I called the hotel again to ask why, I was told once more that I had booked through a third party. I explained that Expedia had already authorized the refund and that it was now in the hotel’s hands, but I was told the hotel simply would not approve the refund. In my line of work, I deal with hotel cancellation policies regularly, and most hotels I’ve contacted explaining a situation why the client can’t stay at the hotel do issue refunds, especially when it’s a genuine mistake made well in advance. That’s why I was especially disappointed here. This wasn’t a last-minute cancellation, I gave plenty of notice, provided proof, and still the hotel refused while continuing to shift the blame to the third party. I have it in writing from the third party refund is approved and the third party put in the request at the hotel and the response on now this thread once again states its the third parties issue. Again when I called the lhotel itself told me they would not allow it she even said her manager reviewed it and they are abiding by the non refundable policy even if the third party would that doesn’t matter. I want to make it clear the third party did not blame your hotel at all your hotel said you won’t do it and it doesn’t matter if the third party would.

    The room was large, clean, crisp sheets :) and includes a full hot breakfast. Mark checked us in when we got there about 10pm and helped serve our breakfast at 9am. He is warm, friendly and sincerely seems to care about his guests.
