- THT HawkSep 19, 20252.0This was our third time on the Island, so we had something to compare it to. Location is not good. Every time you drive to the beach, you have to make a u-Turn in heavy traffic. The building is old and showing it. Cleanliness is an issue. Cobwebs above the curtains in our room. A cigarette butt was left on the stairs the whole week during our stay. Which means it was not cleaned once. Breakfast was not good, either (very few choices, eggs way oversalted, sour milk). Staff is very nice but the whole place was run essentially by two people while we were there. That is just not enough.

I normally stay in more-than-casual hotels and airbnb's, and this place was fantastic for what I paid. Disclosure: (I forgot to take a few quick pictures during our stay. Im not affiliated with the hotel in any way.) Everything was clean, the free products in the shower weren't harmful for my sensitive hair/skin, wifi was good, water felt filtered(shower/sink had good pressure), ice cold room temp, free breakfast, ice machine, drinks, workspace with a printer if you need it in a pinch. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. Service was absolutely great. One of the ladies even helped us with our small luggage on our way out. Kaby also spoke to me about upgrades for the place he's looking forward to. This place is well looked after, and I look forward to booking here next time we visit the area. If you're looking for bang for buck, this is it.
