    I stayed at this hotel during a work trip and had a very unpleasant experience. I was given a room key and checked into my room as usual. Around 2 a.m., another guest entered my room — apparently, the front desk had either given them a key to my room or double-booked it. It was extremely unsettling to have someone walk in while I was asleep. I wasn’t offered a sincere apology or any compensation for the mistake, and I wasn’t able to get back to sleep afterwards, even though I had to work early the next morning. This was a serious lapse in professionalism and security. If you’re looking for a reliable and restful stay, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.

    Rooms are dirty. Kitchenette is poorly stocked, eg, 2 pots no lids, 1 cooking utensil which was a soup ladle. Kitchen chairs are tired, worn out n sad shape, no bath safety shower mat, broken can opener n could not get answer at front desk for help, no stopper for Kitchen sink, went thru 3 remotes for tv b4 got a working one, none of ev chargers worked, smoking section right beside disabled parking stalls, website says for nominal fee breakfast offered is not true, desk n management are not helpful, they roll their eyes like what do you want now.

    Very clean, quiet, reasonably priced. I've stayed there 3 times. I would definitely stay again.

    Knowing it was Labour Day Long Weekend that we would need 2 nights hotel, I phoned directly to the hotel 7 days prior, to make reservations. I talked to staff on the phone, giving my Best Western membership number, email, phone number and credit card number. My request for a certain type of room was accepted, room number given to me and a one hour earlier check in time was also accepted. The weak link here was that I did not recieve a verification email, but trusted that all was arranged and reserved...WRONG! On the Saturday, Aug 30 we arrived at the expected check in time to find out there was NO RESERVATION, someone else had been given our room, and the hotel was full. "Sorry" was all we got, and "it is the long weekend" Yes I know! That's why I reserved! We checked 3 other nearby large hotels to find they too were fully booked. ("It is the long weekend") So, with nowhere to stay, we first had to cancel our dinner reservation downtown, then drive back the 2 hours to our home, and miss out on all the planned events that we had travelled for. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times before, but I will never book again, as I cannot TRUST the staff to actually complete the reservation, even when I talked in person to them and they gave me a room number and the room price for my membership card. NEVER AGAIN!

    Lady at check in seemed cold & unwelcoming. LED lights in bathroom, one is very dim and the other flickers intermittently. Treadmill in gym was not functional. Renovations occurring on room floor though not advised of this. Shower out of body wash. Parking lot had plenty of empty stalls though front desk allowed vehicles to park at entrance, blocking guest ability to pull up and load cars. Staff (indian) in the morning rude, two women having a conversation in Hindi-blocking the use of the elevator while staring at a guest making them wait… exceptionally poor social skills for a representative of a hotel. Disappointing experience all round for the best western brand. Certainly will not stay again.
