  This is a nice, clean, and quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Far enough off the highway that there is zero road noise. The staff is friendly and accommodating. You get a full breakfast with your stay which is your typical hotel breakfast.

  We had a very nice time, a staff member always in the area. If you had questions, they were never far from the area.

  No issues with our stay. Room was clean, very spacious. Quiet environment. Friendly staff. The pool was very disappointing though. It was freezing with an abundance of little dead bugs. We also thought there was going to be a hot tub due to the photos of one, but it was all boarded up. The breakfast was fine, but not exactly what we expected. There were eggs but no meat of any sorts. Usually we would expect bacon or sausage. Other than that, there was a decent selection from cereal, microwaveable sandwiches, toast, waffle maker, muffins, etc. Overall we had a pleasant experience here.

  The indoor heated pool was way too cold to get into on 9/2. The washer and dryer in the guest laundry was out of order.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Oglesby. It is about a 10 minute drive from Starved Rock State Park (which is a must see!) Our first room was a handicap accessible room without a tub. They graciously moved us to a room that had a tub. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Although small, we enjoyed swimming in the pool. The breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs, muffins, waffles, various breads and a yogurt machine. They also had breakfast sandwiches that you could heat up. This isn't a fancy hotel, but it's quiet and clean. You can see that they are trying to make updates. It's worth it for the price. We would stay here again.
