- CSCheryl Sterling3 days ago5.0We stayed from Oct 22-Oct 29. All the staff exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed immediately and felt at home. The front desk staff were helpful, friendly and interested in us. They went above and beyond. Thank you. The room was incredibly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We only needed our room cleaned several times and they made sure we had enough coffee, bath products to tide us over. There was plenty of room in the workout room for a couple people to do mat workouts at the same time. It opened at 6 am but the front staff were nice enough to open it a little earlier if I wanted. Laundry room was clean and new machines. My husband went for breakfast every morning and was very impressed with the food available. We highly recommend the Best Western Northgate Inn in Nanaimo and we will definitely be back.

The staff were always smiling and super respectful, the room was very clean and well kept every day, and the food was good and fresh. The highlight for me was the hygiene and cleanliness – really impressive. Highly recommend this place!

Very clean and comfortable room. Continental breakfast was okay, not amazing. Decent gym and laundry which was great on our multi day stay. We have to return to Nanaimo periodically for the next few years, we will be staying here again.
