    We stayed two nights in late October. The staff were very friendly; the rooms were refurbished recently, and the breakfast was good. Our room, and likely the entire hotel has been remodeled, so the inside is much better than you would expect based on the exterior design/look of the hotel. 40” flat screen TV, cable, fridge and microwave are included. There was plenty of hot water. Breakfast is what you would expect with this type of hotel (best western, holiday inn, Hampton Inn, etc.). Eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles plus fruit and coffee. I will stay here again next time I’m in town.

    The room was spacious and the breakfast was decent. However, the elevator was not working during our stay. We were also placed in a connecting room, and unfortunately, the guests next door were very loud throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. Needs more attention in cleaning.

    This place lists itself as pet friendly. It is not unless you like a "special" room, with tile floors, and not even a clock for a $100 more than a regular BW style room. The area to "walk" the dog is directly adjacent to the pool and patio and is approximately 6x12 ft in grass. The remainder of the property is gravel, trash and sand burs. This is a total rip off and may list itself as pet friendly but not so. I called BW customer relations to express concerns and was told hotel management would contact me in 2-5 days. It has been 14 days and nothing but crickets. I recontacted customer service and got the total run around from the rep. He would not escalate the call to a lead and this over all experience solidifies my decision to stay at other hotels in the future.

    We are currently staying at the Best Western here in Montrose and have been delighted by everything so far. All of the construction mentioned in other comments is done with the exception of the elevator. Our room (a Pet-Friendly room) is exceptionally clean and had no issues at all. Breakfast was fine for the price point, I don't know why you'd expect a four-star buffet. Typical toast, bagels, juice, coffee, yogurt, oatmeal and some fruit. It was great for a quick bite! We also used the Tesla Destination chargers provided. This was highly appreciated! Only recommendation I'd give is letting other customers know not to park their vehicles on EV spots if they are not driving one. We had to wait for a charging spot to clear.

    Staff were very hospitable. Housekeeping staff were amazing. Dining staff were on point with the breakfast spread. the property could use a little maintenance , but the room served it's purpose. Keep up the good work.
