Stayed here twice during our stay in Vegas. Location is very close and to the airport and there is free parking which is rare nowadays in Vegas.
First stay was one night in a 2 Queen Bed Sofabed Room. Check in was extremely slow, we waited over 20 mins for the rep to check in the people ahead of us. Elevator was broken and our room was on the 3rd floor. The layout of the hotel to take the stairs was confusing. The room was so dim, there were only 3 lamps in the room. The beds were advertised as Queen and they were definitely NOT Queen. Sink is outside of the bathroom. Bathroom was small and tight.
Second stay was two nights in a 2 Queen Bed Suite. This was a better room and obviously more money than the previous room. At least the lighting was much better here. Bathroom was bigger here as well and you didn’t feel cramped inside. They fixed the elevator during this stay.
Breakfast was decent and the staff was very attentive in refilling. They had a good variety of options.
Best Western McCarran Inn, adjacent to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, is a good choice for solo travelers or families on budget. My room was a bit on the small side but otherwise clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is somewhat of a double edge sword; very close to the airport terminal (if that is important to you), but on the other hand, can be noisy with flights coming and going. I arrived at night and was cheerfully greeted by Diqwon who took care of my tired self promptly. The hot breakfast was very good. Airport shuttle service is available for a $5 fee; it does not run overnight. There is no restroom in the lobby. Staff will direct you to the gas station next door, or of course, your room. I spent three nights here and was quite satisfied. Very much recommended.

The hotel was ok, but not remarkable. The blind in my room was broken and wouldn't close all the way and there were a few other annoyances I don't remember. But overall ok.
The young woman on the desk on Friday, August 22 was really great. A storm on PHX redirected many flights into LAS, resulting in a huge rush for rooms. She was fantastic - staying calm, friendly, answering questions and the phone as she checked people in.
The day staff the next morning were lackluster. Except for the shuttle driver - he was super cool: very friendly and engaging.
I booked this hotel through a third party at a non-refundable rate. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and I wasn’t able to check in as planned. I fully understand non-refundable policies, but the issue here was the inconsistent and misleading communication from the hotel management.
When I called, the manager first told me to dispute the charge with my credit card company and even mentioned offering a partial (50%) refund if that didn’t work. Later, when I followed up, she denied ever saying those things. This back-and-forth left me feeling misled and frustrated.
I don’t expect exceptions to every policy, but I do expect honesty and consistency in communication. Travelers should be aware that the information you receive from management here may not be reliable.
