We’ve paid for a single night, on 3 separate occasions just to SWIM. The water got colder with every stay. The last stay I brought my own pool thermometer to prove a point. When brought up the 59 degree indoor pool, management said “that’s just what the boss wants it on to save money” & “I wish I could help but it’s set at 82 already” pls get your heater looked at and listen to your guests

Hiya, this place is old but its not a bad place. However we did have 1 issue while there. I felt itchy in the night and due to a past instance in a hotel my mind scrambled to look and inspect for the cause. I found white dots around the bed and found a large brown stain on the box spring. I told front desk they gave me a $30 refund on the stay and notified housekeeping and maintenence and have okrin coming to look. Alongside that are ordering all new beds and box springs. I hope it wasnt what i think it was. Tldr NO MATTER WHERE YOU STAY FULLY INSPECT YOUR ROOM AND BED!

Have been staying at the hotel for over a week now and out beds have had their sheets changed every other day, sometimes the bed is made and other times the sheets are simply thrown on the bed and straightened; the bathrooms have no working fans in the suites; our suit has not had its floor vacuumed at all, in over a week , even when visible dirt (cigarette butt) was intentionally left on floor to "test" housekeeping (failed to clean our floor). The hotel collection is close to supermarket and Buckeye Lake and if it was not centrally located then I'd be giving this hotel one star across the board.

Been staying at best westerns on our cross country drive. I’ve been more and more irritated by the prices. The point of putting up with not stellar conditions is your saving money but now these roadside (glorified) motels are charging 3-5 star hotel prices and then extras on top (pet fee). This place was clean, the common areas were updated and nice. The rooms were clean but so old, I felt like I time warped to 1981, and the beds would have been old even then. The beds at this location are the worst I’ve slept in. We had to change rooms once because the first bed wasn’t even close to reasonable, extremely squeaky and creaky, the next room the beds were 3 feet off the ground, I don’t even know how they managed that and can’t imagine it’s up to code for safety. Anyway, my main complaint is if your going to charge $150-200 a night provide that level of comfort and room. I don’t mind a room that’s just sufficient but then I expect to pay well under $100 a night. The staff were very friendly. It’s just time for best westerns to either lower their prices or update their 1980s rooms
