  Clean well appointed room, with a good, newer, large TV and a very comfortable bed. Quiet environment and well manicured landscaping. Pleasant and accommodating staff.

  I booked a room just for one night and thank God I did. The room smelled as if someone was in there smoking just before I got in. The only accommodation was a room with double beds. The pillow had a brown stain as if someone wiped rust water with it and a towel in the bathroom that looks like it had a food grease stain. WILL NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE.

  We booked here for a two night stay. Drove 4.5 hours out of town to check in only to get a room with roaches and holes in the wall behind the toilet. The attendant the night of said the manager would be in at 9am in the morning, went in after 9am this morning and the new attendant said he can come in anywhere from 9-11am. As we were heading to our car, the manager walks in, and I immediately get a call stating we will get a full refund. I asked if I could get a receipt and she said she’d email me one yet didn’t have my email. We walk in for the receipt and the so called manager immediately dodges and disappears through a door. The attendant lied about him being the manager. She then said she was not allowed to call the manager (her boss), what sense does that make? An employee not allowed to call her boss? Yet he’s literally in the building. Anyways, it then took her 30 minutes to print me a receipt and the receipt seems fake. It appeared someone was walking her through what to do over the phone as she asked us to sit down..yet nobody else was behind us waiting to be helped. As we’re leaving, another guest had a complaint about not having any lights. We asked if he was having problems too and that’s when the attendant starts yelling stating we’re causing a scene and asked us to leave. I’m not sure how asking a question to someone else is causing a scene but I digress. Driving away I get a notification that my booking was modified and they still charged me for a night. I Will be calling corporate. I’m exhausted, and I’m out $300. Worse experience of my life.

  I have stayed at many hotels in the area and have had less than desirable experiences. Best Western Laplata is always clean, comfortable, and accommodating to my request. The front desk staff are all very friendly and will do their best to help you in any way possible. Breakfast is free yet I hope for more options in the future. Keep up the great work BW !

  Upon entering my room on August 29th 2025 there was a very strong stench of urine. When I looked in the bathroom there was a roach in the bathtub. And then took pictures and recorded the roach then went to the front desk to make him aware of the smell and the roach-infested hotel. He was very rude cut me off did not let me speak it only offered me a free cup of coffee and a can of roast spray the spray the hotel myself. Respectfully decline that offer and requested a cancellation for that weekend. The concierge was so rude. He did not allow me to express my concerns regarding the room and the infested roaches with the strong urine smell which actually was the smell of an infested room with roaches. Our highly not recommend this hotel to anyone.
