  I’ve stayed at the Best Western John Jay Inn Calexico a few times now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most welcoming hotels in the area.I really appreciate how pet-friendly they are, it makes traveling with my dog so much easier, and the pet fee is very reasonable compared to other places. They never make it complicated or stressful. Living in in the Imperial Valley, we deal with power outages from time to time, and it’s always a comfort knowing this hotel is there as a reliable place to stay when I need it. The staff has always been kind and accommodating, and I feel at home every time I walk in. Another big plus is the complimentary breakfast. It’s a great way to start the day without having to rush out, and it really adds to the value of the stay. On top of that, their rates are some of the best around. My family loves it here too—it’s comfortable, welcoming, and we all feel taken care of whenever we stay. For the quality of the rooms, the service, and the extras, you really can’t beat the value. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or just a local needing a place to stay, the John Jay is a solid choice.

  There are not too many options around Calexico. Hotel room prices are little steep considering the nature of the neighborhood. It is an older property but it is well-maintained. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is OK. I have been staying here for many years and I will return.

  Very hot. It got up to 118° when I was there but still a very beautiful location
