  Given the relative high room rates for this property, the state of the room I stayed in didn't meet expectations.

  We went to see the painted hills and stayed one night in John Day. This was the only hotel in town with King sized beds, so we stayed here with no idea what we would get in this small town. We were so very pleased! The rooms were big and comfortable and had many amenities. The breakfast was full and hot and so many options. We were happy and would definitely stay here again.

  Check in great, no issues and clerk was wonderful with explaing where everything was. Check out - Sat. Breakfast well stocked and tasty. We did notice the front desk clerks didnt appear very professional due to their attire (sweats, tshirts, baseball hat, hoodie and no name tags). We also noticed a skateboard half tucked under one of the couch. It would be beneficial for Best Western to ensure front desk personnel have a more professional appearance.

  Very nice room, comfortable bed. Lovely hot tub, although the indoor pool was too cold for us. Nice breakfast, included. Will stay there again when we're in town.

  Our family enjoyed a safe and comfortable night here passing through. We rolled in late and they accommodated us quickly for a reasonable price and allowed late checkout.
