If I could give zero stars I would. Upon arrival we encountered one problem after another. They offer one free drink at the bar but were out of almost everything. They are supposed to offer you water bottles especially for best Western rewards members, but didn’t have that either. They keep the PJ’s restaurant locked so you can’t get water there either. They were out of bacon during breakfast, which was the main dish besides eggs - tasted rubbery. The only guy working at PJ’s was extremely rude to us, when we asked for yogurt he took the yogurt and slammed it down on the counter, and didn’t know if it was flavored or not, and really didn’t care and said they never make enough bacon for everyone and that most of their supplies would be out during this time… it was 9:30 AM and they were closing everything down when their breakfast was supposed to end at 10 AM. We got lots of bug bites while in the room so probably BED BUGS and didn’t sleep because there were loud noises all night long. On top of that my mom is a Best Western rewards member and it was her BIRTHDAY and we had pre-booked for two nights in the same room but the morning after the first night stay while we had do not disturb on our door we had countless people banging on our door asking us if we were checking out because apparently we were on the vacate list. We called the front desk and she confirmed that we were supposed to leave the room until someone found the comment section which confirmed otherwise! The hotel is rundown in need of repair and rooms were dirty upon arrival as well. I was thoroughly disappointed in everything that occurred plus when we asked to speak to management, we were told one was not available until the next day and the next day we call down to speak with managers, we were told they were all in a meeting and no one ever returned our call. The worst part was when we complained about things it was dismissed, and no one even tried to accommodate us. THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.

Check in was made easy - Trey was great, warm, and welcoming. The room had a nice setup with the granite counters, fridge, microwave, stove, pull out couch, and two big screen TVs in the living area and bedroom. I also appreciated the free drink at PJ's Cafe and the breakfast had a pretty nice variety. However, there was quite a bit lacking - literally. For my free drink, I asked for a Shirley Temple and they were out of grenadine. At breakfast I wanted to use the hot water, but that was out of service (also, the oranges were rotten/bruised and bananas unripe, and the apple juice comes out bubbly/frothy). At checkout, I asked for 2 water bottles and they were completely out. I don't think they are ADA compliant as I didn't see an elevator anywhere, which made things a bit challenging. I also was woken up in the middle of the night just because someone in a different unit was using the shower and the pipes sounded like they were screaming. That being said, it really was a phenomenal location. Right across the street from the Dollar Store and Ross in case there were some essentials needed. Also, there is a small court where my stepson and husband were able to play basketball which was a really unexpected blessing.

We have been staying here regularly for over a year whenever we visit Tucson. We like the location as it’s located central too many of the places that we need to access when we visit town. The front desk staff is amazing very courteous and helpful. The facility is in a good part of town and parking is never a problem. They do allow us to bring our dogs for a reasonable fee, which is another nice touch. The bad part is the room. They are hit or miss It’s sad to say that the consistency between your rooms cleanliness is terrible. Most of them are filthy this trip I took a towel as soon as I arrived and wiped the floor to see if it was clean. It turned black in a few swipes. This room has not been properly cleaned in a long time. I understand good help is hard to find however perhaps a better management of cleaning staff is needed spot inspections are clearly needed to keep staff guessing when they’re going to get to clean a room again. I don’t know anybody who likes to do something twice because they did it the wrong way the first time. Remember, we pay good money for these rooms and we deserve clean accommodations for that money. If I have to stay in a room this dirty every time I come to Tucson it’s only worth about $50 to me not 150 per night. For what it’s worth we brought this up last time we stayed as there was some sort of puke or feces all over the bathroom wall that had to be cleaned. The quality of accommodations across the country is getting worse by the year. Yeah it’s not a 5 Star motel I know that. My opinion is based on staying here at least 18 times in the last year .

Spacious, clean room, good value for the price. Solid free breakfast, including waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, sweet rolls, juices, coffee, etc. What really made this place a gem, though, was the amazing staff. From Melissa’s congeniality and accommodation checking me in through Christopher’s professionalism and helpfulness at checkout, the entire staff was top notch. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely unacceptable. I paid $330 in cash for a reservation in Room 117 and what I got was a nightmare. The room was infested with roaches—I saw them on the bathroom floor, on the walls, and even on the bed. I have photos to prove it. My girlfriend left immediately, and what should have been a special anniversary weekend was completely ruined. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was leaking, leaving water on the floor, and housekeeping practices were disturbing—I watched staff throw pillows on the ground before putting them back in rooms. That is beyond unsanitary. When I brought these issues to the front desk, I was told I couldn’t get a refund simply because I paid in cash. They even created a profile for me without my consent and refused to offer me another room. This hotel not only failed to provide basic cleanliness and safety, but also showed no accountability or concern for its guests. No one should ever waste their hard-earned money on this place. It’s a roach-infested, unsafe, and unprofessional establishment. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and warning others to stay far away.
