- JGJeffrey Giese1 day ago5.04 day stay to visit family. Groome shuttle drop/pickup only 100 yards away that I use from Atlanta Airport. Been coming back for a number of years, at least twice a year. Roos have been upgraded to new carpeting, window coverings, mirror. Breakfast is all someone needs with multiple choices. Nelly does a great job keeping everything clean and selections hot and full. They have a pool but I don't use it. Price is always right. Will keep coming back.

But the main reason for leaving this review is because of Nelly (Breakfast lady) She was so sweet and helpful. She got my waffle for me so it didn't burn, Held the door open for me to take breakfast back to my family sleeping still, She was overall very friendly!

When I drove up and noticed the state of the hotel with its outdated look and outdoor hallways that lead into a dimly lit parking lot, I knew there as no way I would sleep a wink. When I called the corporate office, they told me they could not cancel my reservation or refund my money because I did not give 24 hours notice. They didn’t care that I was traveling alone and didn’t feel safe. They weren’t ashamed. They were happy to steal my money! If I had known or if the pictures online genuinely represented the property, I never would have made a reservation! I trusted the name, “Best Western”. HUGE MISTAKE. I am now at the hotel next door (clean, safe and brightly lit parking lot) with a view of the sketchy parking lot. I am sickened by their horrible business practices. They had an opportunity to make it right. Now I will steer clear of Best Western and all of their affiliates.
