  ⭐️⭐️ 2 out of 5 stars This Best Western in McAlester, Oklahoma is definitely not what I would consider a 3-star stay. The property had the feel of a run-down roadside motel. There were people hanging out in the parking lot drinking, barbecuing, and even working out in front of the rooms, which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. The first room I was given smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I asked to switch, and the second room wasn’t much better — stains on the floor and a very strong lingering curry-like odor. The overall cleanliness and upkeep are way below what you would expect from a Best Western. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and reasonably professional environment, I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely more of a low-end 2-star experience at best.

  BAD EXPERIENCE!Rooms are NOT handicap friendly! My wife couldn't get in and out of the room with her scooter! I had to get a wheelchair out of the uhaul so she could access the room. Obviously you know the thresholds are to high. The doorways to the cleaning closets have concrete transition straps for easier access.

  Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was just okay - pancakes were good, but microwaved sausage and eggs were barely edible. Pool was a bit dirty, but maybe that's to be expected in the middle of a parking lot. Overall, an okay value for the money, but definitely an economy motel.

  I didn't stay here i called to ask a simple question to find out what their pet policy was. i didn't catch the lady's name but she said they allowed pets and i asked about the rates i guess i confused her because she said they were " the same as everyone else" and when i corrected myself and apologized and told her i meant the pet fee she said their wasn't one.. so i asked ab9out a weight limit and the answer i got was " we don't do the big dogs" after that very delightful and intellectual conversation i will never stay here with or without m pups. customer service definitely needs work
